Chan and I had ended up at the ice-cream shop next door. "I don't know what monster chooses to eat ice-cream in October." Chan looked up from his sundae bowl offended. Chocolate covering his face and his spoon still in his mouth he answers, "me, I'm the monster." Smiling at him I got up to grab some more tissues.

"Here." I said sitting back down, handing him the tissues. "You eat ice-cream like a toddler." "I've known you for a max of-" he checks his watch, " 2 hours and you treat me like this." My brows furrowed once I heard the 2 hour mark. I looked at my phone that I had left on do not disturb and panicked when I saw the amount of missed calls from my mom and dad. "Shit!" I yelled. Chan looked up at me. "Is everything okay?" "Yeah, I just forgot to tell my parents where I was." I said getting up. He quickly cleaned up his mess from the table, dumping his stuff in the trash before leading me out the door.

"Want me to head back with you so you have an alibi?" "Wow, 2 hours and you're already trying to meet my parents?" I said smugly. "Yes I have some complaints to make about their product." He replied smirking. I elbowed him in the gut and walked away as he crouched in pain. "You brat." "Yeah but a lovable one." He laughed once he realized I used his own words against him.  He  then quickly ran and caught up with me, throwing an arm over my shoulder. "I'd love an alibi by the way." I said. Looking down at me he smiled and nodded. "Then let's go."

Once we exited the elevator towards my family's apartment, he gasped. "You're only a floor below me!" "hurray!" I said unlocking my front door. "Changbin is that you? Where have you been?" My mom came racing towards the front door. "Oh hello!" She says smiling. "This is Chan. His family just moved in a floor above us. I was showing him around." I said pushing Chan towards her. He smiled and bowed. "Hi Ms. Seo, it's nice to meet you." "And it's lovely to meet you, come in!"
