•Angelines pov•
Today is the day of my first ever show. I'm currently at the venue alone as I just did my last rehearsal with my band. Matt should be here soon as I told him to come earlier than everyone else. The triplets, Alahna, Nate and my mom all have a section where they'll be watching the show from. It makes me a lot less nervous knowing they'll all be here. I go on in three hours and I feel really good after rehearsal today. I feel like we got everything worked out and sounding good.
I hear a light knock on the door pulling my focus away.
"Come in." I say
The door opens and I see Matt smiling with a bouquet of roses in his hands. I smile at him and walk over to him throwing my arms around him.
"How are you feeling?" He asks still hugging me
"Better after rehearsal, still nervous but I feel ready now." I reply
"Good." He says letting go of the hug "These are for you." He smiles handing me the bouquet
Baby pink roses with baby's breath, always the same. He knows they're my favourite.
"Thank you." I respond taking them from him
I set them down on my vanity and sit back down in my seat to continue getting ready. Matt pulls a chair up next to me and watches me as I do my makeup and hair. It's silent but comforting having him here, I already feel a lot less anxious just having him in the room.
After a little while I'm finished getting ready and everyone else has showed up.
"Angeline we have to get you all ready to go on." My tech manager pokes her head in
I take a deep breath and stand up, everyone hugs me one by one giving small words of encouragement. Matt waits till everyone else leaves before wrapping me in a hug.
"You're gonna do amazing, I'm so proud of you. Have fun, I love you." He says
"I love you." I reply and pull out of the hug
I go up on my toes to give him a quick kiss and we both leave the room going separate ways. When I get backstage I get handed a mic and my in ear monitors. After making sure I could hear everything well it was finally time. I hear my band start playing the intro and I walk out onto the stage.
I knew the show was sold out but I still wasn't ready for the amount of people in the crowd. I waved to everyone and heard my cue in my monitors and started the show.
