Chapter 9
Rose's POV
The the whole gang was sitting around the living room at the Curtis' house. Johnny and Pony were on the floor, Soda, Steve, and Twobit were on one couch. Darry was at work, and Me and Dally were on the other couch. We were all bored out of our minds. We were all just blurting out idea's of what to do, but we couldn't agree on something. It was too hot outside to do much of anything.
"I have an idea!" Twobit yelled making us all jump. "Let's play spin the bottle!
We all went silent.
I tried to hide my laughter. Then Soda spoke up. "Two, there's six boys and one girl, what are the chances we're gonna land on Rose?"
"That's the point." Everyone's face was in shock. "I'm just kidding y'all." He said laughing.
I leaned back and laid my head on Dally. He slipped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him. We all went back into silence. Just then an amazing idea popped into my head.
I sat up quickly. "How about we go swimming?" I said making everyone's face light up.
"Perfect, let me get my swim trunks." Pony said running to his room.
"Yea let's do it, it's hot enough for it anyway." Soda said running to his room.
The boys went off to their houses except Johnny.
"Johnny, don't you want to swim too?" I asked making him look up.
He shook his head. "No, I don't like swimming. I'm just gonna stay back and take pictures of you guys. I like taking pictures." I nodded and looked at Dally.
"Dal, can you drive me to my house, I need change." He gave me a smirk.
"Oh yes, I certainly will." I rolled my eye's and Dally drove me to my house.
"Okay you stay in here, I think I can change by myself." I said making him frown.
"Okay fine." I smiled and went into my house. My mom was at work right now, so I quickly went up to my room.
I looked through my clothes until I found my black two-piece swim suit with white polkadots on it. I put on my black shorts and white crop top on over it. I took my hair out of a bun and let it fall. I put on my shoes and grabbed my bag.
