Chapter 18

Rose's POV

Once Dally made it to Buck's, I could already here people talking and music playing. I could already smell the alcohol and smoke. Dally parked and we got out. We walked in and everywhere was full of Greasers and Socs.

Dally grabbed my hand and I followed him over to another part of the club. We sat down at a table and soon enough Mia and Soda came and sat down with us. A few minutes later Darry, Steve, Ava, Twobit, Emma, Johnny, and Pony came in.

"Man that's nasty, there were some people having sex on the couch out there." Pony said scrunching up his face.

Dally laughed. "Aw Pony's poor young eyes."

Darry sighed. "I told ya to close your eyes, but you didn't listen."

Twobit laughed. "He listened when I told him to drink a whole bottle of fucking beer."

"Just the hell up Twobit." Pony yelled annoyed.

"And when I told him to steal a coke for me." Steve said messing up his hair.

I sighed. "Y'all leave Pony alone."

Pony smiled. "At least someone has my back."

"I do too." Twobit said holding Pony up in the air from his back.

"Twobit what's your fucking problem man." Pony yelled.

Dally pulled Pony away from Twobit. "Hey lets go dance man the party's getting good."

We all agreed and walked over to the dance floor. Mainly just where everyone was dancing. I started dancing with Mia and singing along to the song. Dally soon pulled me away and placed his hands on my hips. I wrapped my arms around his neck looking up into his eyes. The song was fast, but we were just swaying back and forth.

Just then Dally leaned down and kissed me. I felt fireworks go off inside me. The moment was ruined because Soda pushed us apart and Dally looked really annoyed.

"Come on guys we're all gonna go get some drinks." We joined the rest of the gang at the bar area and we all took a couple of shots. I could already feel myself getting tipsy.

"Come on girl lets go dance!" Mia said jumping up and down. Well she was obviously drunk.

"No no I think I'm gonna sit down for a seconded." I said sitting on the stool.

"Okay suit yourself." She said joining the gang on the dance floor.

I smiled watching all of them having fun. I was snapped out of my thought when a guy over came and sat next to me.

He smiled. "What's a pretty girl like you sit'n by yourself?" I could smell the alcohol in his breath. He was totally drunk. And definitely a Soc.

I coughed. "Uh can you please leave me alone." I scooted away a little.

He moved closer to my face. "Oh I like girls that play hard to get."

I scoffed. "I said leave me alone man, I have a boyfriend."

He laughed. "Do you think I give a fuck?"

I laughed. "You will, because his name is Dallas Winston."

He scoffed. "Man, I could beat him up in a heart beat." He grabbed my waist and I tried fighting against him but, he had such a tight grip on me, so I could barely move.

Suddenly the guy got hit in the face and he fell on the ground. I looked at who did it and it was none other then my boyfriend, Dally. He looked at me for a slip seconded and then back at the guy. He had rage in his eyes. His soft brown eyes were replaced with pure hatred.

Dally started beating the shit out of him. With every swing you could here a crack. I really didn't know what to do. I didn't want Dally to get in trouble with the cops because he's been out for so long.

Now almost about everyone was circling them watching. The gang looked worried and I knew I couldn't just let Dally do this. I stepped past the crowed of people and got close to Dally. He was still swinging his arms punch the hell out of the guy.

I tried pulling his arm back, but suddenly he turned around faster then I could count or process and punched me straight in the face. I felt my face instantly hurt like thousands of knifes were sticking in my face.

I fell straight back holding my face. The room went silent as I hit the floor with a loud thud. I felt hot tears start to prickle down my cheeks making the spot where Dally hit hurt like hell. I looked up and my eyes met Dally's. He was frozen. He looked as white as a ghost. I could see the surprised look in his face.

He started to move closer to me. "R-rose I-I d-didn't know it w-was you."

I scooted back father away from him. I was...scared. For the first time I was scared of the boy I was in love with. Tears started spilling down faster. I felt someones hand on my shoulder and I looked up to see Soda. I quickly stood up and ran faster then I ever have. The cold air instantly hit my skin.

I was in so much pain, but I didn't care. I wanted to get away from everyone as fast as possible, mainly Dally. My vision was blurry from me crying. I wiped my face and kept running. I soon found myself at my house. I quickly ran up the stairs and bursted through the door. I saw my mom on the couch and she looked at me in shock.

"Honey what happened to you." She said getting up and running over to me.

I fell on the floor and started crying. "H-he p-p-punched m-me... H-h." I could barely get the words out.

She fell next to me and wrapped me in a hug. I rested my head on her getting her shirt wet and staining it with the blood on my face. "Who Rosie?"

I stiffed out the answer. "D-Dally."

She picked up my head in shock and looked over my face. "H-he d-did."

I didn't want to answer anymore questions, so I just laid my head in my hands, but it made my face sting. I moaned in pain and my mom lifted me up and helped me to the bathroom. I sat on the side of the tub and my mom got out the alcohol and gently pressed it on my face. I jumped back in pain.

Once my mom was one cleaning me up I finally calmed down and told her what happened. I felt more tears rise up in my eyes.

"Honey maybe it was by mistake." She said rubbing my back.

I looked at her shocked. "Never mind mom, I'm going to bed." I got up and went to my room locking the door. I locked my window and changed into a long shirt and crawled into bed.

All of my thoughts were wandering. Did Dally do it by mistake? I don't know. Even if it was I still couldn't face him. I would be too scared. I have never seen Dally with that much anger and rage in his eyes. I have never seen him look at me with that much anger. His soft eyes were replaced with the one thing I never wanted to be there.

I knew I wouldn't leave my room anytime soon. I knew I couldn't face Dally anytime soon either. The one person I though could never hurt me, proved me wrong.
