Eddie's POV:
I watch Ripley hop down from the van and sashay towards the house, her hips swaying from side to side. I reach down and adjust my cock in my jeans so it's a little less painful and I lean over, opening the glove compartment. I take out a ream of condoms and put them into the pocket of jacket. I doubt I'll need this many, but hey a guy can hope. My eyes wander to the house, wondering what Ripley is doing while she waits and my hands shake slightly. I've already had her a few times, but I still get jittery just thinking about it. In the back of my van I keep an overnight bag for when campaigns run long at Dustin's or Mike's and I snatch it, tossing it over my shoulder and locking up before I head inside. The house is still mostly dark, a dim hall nightlight the only illumination in the foyer. I peek around and notice a light coming from under a door at the end of the hall and move forward, a small smile on my lips. I knock on the wood and wait before Ripley swings the door open, a smile on her lips. She gestures for me to step inside and I waste no time, my eyes scanning her room and taking it all in.
I'm slightly surprised to find that it's messy. Ripley's room was always a disaster growing up, but I had just assumed that that had changed along with everything else. The fact that it didn't makes me smile. The mess is mostly clothes, fabric thrown over almost every available surface. The entire room smells like her and I hum under my breath as I breathe deeply, letting myself settle in. She's got a television propped up on her dresser and a VCR beside it. There are shelves holding some knick-knacks and I move over to them, peering into her photo frames.
One of the photos is of us from when we were eleven. Ripley has her arms around my neck and mine is around her waist, my free hand coming up in a peace sign. We both beam at the person taking the photo, Hawkins Middle in the background. It was our first day of middle school. My hair is buzzed down to my scalp and I'm wearing hand-me-downs from my cousin Tobias in Michigan. Ripley's little blonde bob is springing around her head in every direction and she's wearing a striped t-shirt and jeans. We look like a couple of misfits up to no good. I pick the frame up off the shelf and turn to her with a grin. She peeks over my shoulder before returning my expression, a fond gleam in her eyes.
"We were so little," she says softly, running a finger over the photo.
"And some of us have surprisingly stayed this size," I chuckle making her smack me on the shoulder. I put the frame back on the shelf and take a step back looking at it for a moment longer before turning away.
"We do need an updated one though," I tell her and she beams.
"I can see if I can borrow Robin's camera, " she suggests and I nod, moving over to her vanity. I look at all the different perfume bottles and lotions littering the desktop and I shake my head, bewildered. My eyes travel over the mirror to the photos stuck in the corners of her, Robin, and Max. My eyes catch on a sign over her vanity and I have to do a double take, unsure of what I just read.
Above her vanity in a double heart the word "whore" is written in all caps and hangs proudly over her vanity mirror. I look up at it quizzically and I can hear Ripley shuffle slightly behind me, wondering what has captured my attention. When she realizes what I am looking at she surges forward, pushing herself between me and the vanity, sitting slightly on the wood top. My eyes don't leave the sign as I feel her small hands claw at the front of my shirt trying to get my attention. She reaches up and grabs the back of my neck but I lock my muscles so she can't pull my head down and she huffs in frustration.
"What in the world are you doing with a sign like that?" I ask, pointing up at it. I finally look down at her and her cheeks are bright red. She covers her face with her hands for a moment defeated and I try to contain myself, wanting the answer more then I want to laugh.
