"Okay, I usually file them in alphabetical order. But if you'd like you can file them by any way you'd like." I told Tokoyami.
"Yes ma'am."
In the two days I've met Tokoyami, I've come to the conclusion he was a polite young boy who worked his hardest. I once again complimentedHawks mentally for letting him come here.
"Then I'll leave you too it." I turned and walked to where Setagawa was writing furiously on a sheet of paper with an ink pen, he was pressing the pen against the paper so hard I was surprised the paper wasn't breaking.
"Setagawa. How's the paperwork going?" I leaned against the desk, crossing my arms.
"Great. Just great." He didn't look up. "May you be a darling and tell Hawks that he needs to contact to Public Safety Commission President soon, she's been emailing me nonstop and I've given her every excuse I could think of."
I hummed and tapped my fingers against the desk, "Alright. I'll be sure to tell him."
"Thank you darling."
I reached down and waved my hand over his glass of water, cooling it some, "Drink water so you hydrate your brain. Don't want you to get a headache nor would we?"
Setagawa looked up, his tired eyes crinkling up at the ends, "Thanks dear."
I lifted one end on my lips, "Its nothing."
I left Setagawa to his work and went to find the chicken. I ignored my pounding heart, I couldn't be acting like this. All through my childhood I was taught to never show emotions or love. Keigo was different, he looked at me like he actually cared for me and he made me feel happy.
I knocked on his office door before opening it, and like I thought, he was passed out. His feet propped up on his desk with his jacket off. His glasses were thrown carelessly on the ground. I rolled my eyes, why would Keigo be so reckless?
I softly walked up to him and shook his shoulder, "Keigo." I said. I called his name several times but each time he just snorted it off and kept sleeping.
"Don't say I didn't try." I raised my hand, covering it in thick ice before touching his neck and making freezing cold cubes slide down his back.
He sprang up and next thing I knew he had me pinned to the floor, his fists raised and ready to strike. He blinked a few times, "Oh shit. I'm sorry Yukino."
I sat up after he stepped off of me, glancing at his extended hand before helping myself up instead. "No it's fine. I have a message from Setagawa, he said you needed to meet with the Safety Commission President soon."
Keigo's left eye twitched and me stared at the floor, "Thanks for letting me know."
I crossed my arms and popped a hip out. "Also, what are you thinking! Sleeping at work. You should be responsible enough to go to sleep at the right time and not stay up so late!" I glared at him and grabbed his cheeks, pressing my thumbs harshly against the forming dark bags under them. "You're even getting sleeping bags! You need to sleep so you don't fall asleep at work!"
Keigo didn't say anything, he just stared at me with wide eyes and an expression on his face that I didn't quite understand.
"What?" I snapped.
Then he started to laugh, a rosy color started to show in his cheeks. "It's just you sounded so serious and you looked so weird."
"Why is it weird if I'm wanting you to take care of yourself?" I challenged.
He held his hands up, "What time do we leave?"
"Nice try to change to subject." I sneered.
"Look, I don't want to talk about me right now. Let's go."
