I quickly turned away from the press. Not wanting to deal with their endless questions and stupid theories.

"Are they all secure!" I asked Dot.

"Yes. The police have searched them and the Drug case has been solved." He declared.

I hummed and crossed my arms. This was too easy. And from what I saw, these people were very protective of certain ones. Throwing them away from them in hopes that the police wouldn't take them.

I walked up to one of the men in the strange bird masks. "Hey. What were you trading?" I asked coldly.

"Wouldn't you like to know pretty girl?" He cackled. "Those things could change the world!"

"How?"

All I got in return was a crazed giggle and then he started humming a strange tune to himself and rocking back and forth.

I furrowed my brows as I went over our conversation in my head.

Change the world? How?

"Frost. You good?" Hawks called out.

"Huh, oh yeah. I'm fine." I replied nonchalant, shrugging my shoulders.

"Great. Now let's get out of here." He smirked.

"How-"

Before I could finish my sentence, he swooped my up in his arms and flew into the sky.

The bitter wind lashed my hair around my face and it tickled against my neck as I tightened my grip on Hawk's neck.

"Put me down!" I shouted in his ear.

I felt his chest vibrate against me as he chuckled and shook his head. Instead flying higher.

I shivered and buried my head under his chin to help with the wind biting my face.

I was fairly aware of his arms wrapped around me and how almost every inch of my body was pressing against his. His grip tightened under my legs and around my waist as he leaned down. "Look at the view Snowflake. Isn't it beautiful?"

"I can't look!"I yelled. "I'm going to fall!"

He came to an abrupt stop and I jolted into him. "Now look."

I peeled my head out from under his chin and squeezed my eyes opened.

I looked around, it was close to midnight, so the sky was dark and filled with stars and nightlights. I scanned the surrounding area.

And...it was beautiful.

I let out an awed breath and I leaned more over to look out over the area more, Hawks chuckled and gripped me tighter so I wouldn't fall.

"This...is amazing. Score one for you Bird Boy." I complimented.

"I know. And it always takes my breath away when I fly. The views are the best." He shared.

"Well, I see now." I acknowledge.

"Hang on, I'm going to drop us off at that building." Hawks told me.

I scooted closer to him and set my head back under his chin, I tried not to gasp as he shot forward and landed on the building.

"There." He smiled.

I carefully stepped out of his arms and stood on wobbly legs. "Next time, warn me." I snapped.

He held his hands up in surrender. "Sorry. I'll do that next time."
