I slapped my youngest brother on the back as I saw how send a large sleet of ice ahead of him, rather proud of myself for reaching him how to control his ice better.

"Great job!" I said proudly. "I think you've mastered how to regulate your body temperature now. That's good, it'll help improve the power to your quirk."

Shoto gazed ahead at the ice he made. "Yeah. Thanks."

"No problem. Anything else you need help on?" I asked.

"No, not that I think of." He answered.

I lightly lifted my lips in a smile. Me and my youngest brother have been meeting a few days for his training, and I was surprised to see him adapting so well to this.

"So...anything interesting happen on your first day?" I wondered.

"Two of my new classmates tried to kill each other in the hero training today." He answered bluntly.

"Oh, are they okay? Have you spoke with them any?"

"No. I don't speak with anyone in my class. They're just opponents I have to take down to become the best. And why would I bother when I could be training?" He told me.

I rolled my eyes, I tried to ignore the fact that that's something my father would say. Of course i didn't want to upset my brother by telling him that. "So anything else?"

He thought about it for a second, his fingers fiddling around. "My class is going to take a trip to the USJ. And they need sponsors, I heard Thirteen was going to go."

"Sponsors? I could go." I suggested slowly. "Of course I don't have too! It would be a little strange for your sister to be there huh?"

"No it's fine. I'd like you to go. I'll tell my teacher or something." Shoto said.

We fell silent, nothing but the ground making noise as we slapped it with our shoes walking down the sidewalk. I thought about what to say next: I haven't spoken to Shoto one on one like this in awhile.

"Have you gone to see mom?" Shoto said, breaking the ice.

"You haven't been to visit?" I asked.

Shoto set his lips in a firm line. "No, I haven't been able to work up the nerve too. I went to see her yesterday, but I couldn't open the door and I went home."

I ran my hand through my hair, letting out a sigh. "She's good. Although she dose ask about you some. I haven't been to see her in awhile myself, but Natsuo tells me good things." I said.

Shoto walked silently the rest of the way home, his brows furrowed and eyes were glazed in deep thought.

"I'll see you soon Little Bro." I said, reaching up to ruffle his hair.

He didn't stop me, but he didn't bend down either. "See you."

"How are you Frost Bite?" Thirteen asked, easing her glanced hand in a wave.

"Great. How about you?" I answered.

"I'm well. How's working with Hawks?"

I scowled. "It's not the best but better then bad."

She chuckled in response.

I was snapped back to attention when a bus pulled up, students were jumping out and stretching. I scanned them until I saw my half and half brother, sweatdropping.

Is that really his costume? How boring.

"Hello students!" Thirteen called.

"Whaaa! It's Thirteen, she's my favorite hero!" A cute brown headed girl gushed.
