Once they're outside, Aizawa tells them what we're going to do. Aimi's classmates are not excited. Neither is she.
"Bakugo, you managed to get the most points on the entrance exam. What was your farthest distance throw with a softball when you were in Junior High?"
The angry guy steps forward and says about sixty-seven meters.
"Right. Try doing it with your quirk. Anything goes, just stay in the circle."
Bakugo walks towards it and warms up. Well, that's what Aimi guesses his little show is supposed to be. If he could just hurry up, that would be perfect.
"Go on. You're wasting our time", dad remarks annoyed. Aimi knew he'd share her thoughts.
She guesses that fired up the angry hot-head because the next moment, he shouts die and throws the ball. Aimi wonders where his pent-up aggression comes from.
"All of you need to know your maximum capabilities. It's the most rational way of figuring out your potential as a pro", he says before showing them Bakugo's score.
705 meters. Damn. That's less than what she expected.
Her classmates are getting heated up, talking about how much fun this looks like. A mistake Aimi learned not to make again. The last time she said during training that something looked like fun- let's just say he tested her patience with his stupid speech about not taking things easy.
"So this looks fun, huh?" There he goes.
"You have three years here to become a hero. You think it's all going to be games and play time? Idiots. Today, you'll compete in eight physical tests to gauge your potential. Whoever comes in last has none and will be expelled immediately."
He's always had such a knack for firing people up.
Aimi's peers gasp in shock and begin to complain. Another mistake they shouldn't have done.
"Even if it wasn't the first day, that isn't fair", the brown haired girl complains. Her name's Ochaco, she thinks.
"And you think natural disasters are? Or power-hungry villains? Hm? Or catastrophic accidents that wipe out whole cities? No, the world is full of unfairness. It's a hero's job to try to combat that unfairness. If you want to be a pro, you're going to have to push yourself to the brink. For the next three years, UA will throw one terrible hardship after another at you. So, go beyond. Plus Ultra-style. Show me it's no mistake that you're here."

The first test is speed.
Aimi's going against the red and white-haired guy. From the looks of it, he seems pretty strong.
When he feels her looking at him, she gives him a quick nod and tries to smile a little in an attempt to hide her embarrassment. All he does is turn around and ignore Aimi completely.
When the gun goes off, she puts her arms behind her and pushes herself forward, Aimi's hands being engulfed by a red mist.
'4.08 seconds', the machine shows.
The guy stops next to her in less than a second. Aimi turns around and tries to smile lightly, hoping he'd return it.
Despite her hopes, he just turns around and walks off. Aimi doesn't know why she thought he'd return the smile, why he'd even bother.
She wraps her arms around her torso and walks back to the others, hoping no one has noticed.

Next were grip-strength and the standing long jump. Aimi couldn't really use her quirk for those, but she thinks she still managed to get good points. After all, Aimi does train with their teacher. The repeated side-steps were a real pain, though. She can't really move that fast, so Aimi hopes that she didn't completely fail. That Mineta guy, though, had luck with those...weird balls on his head.
Right now, they're doing the ball throw.
Midoriya, the green haired guy, is preparing himself to throw the ball and right as he's about to let go of it, Aimi sees her dad. His hair flows around his face, and he's glaring at Midoriya with his red eyes.
The ball miserably falls to the ground at only 46 meters, and Aimi faintly hears him mumbling.
"I erased your quirk", her dad helps him out. "The judges for this exam were not rational enough. Someone like you should never be allowed to enroll at this school."
Aimi winces slightly, feeling sorry for Midoriya. That was a little harsh on her father's part.
When she looks back at the broccoli-head, though, he doesn't seem bothered at all. Rather like he's just now realized something.
"Those googles. I know you! You can look at someone and cancel out their powers. The Erasure Hero, Eraser Head." Midoriya looks at her dad again, who's putting eye drops in his eyes.
The others around her start mumbling too, some recognizing her dad, some wondering who that is.
Aimi sees the duel haired guy from earlier tilting his head to the side, so slightly you wouldn't have noticed from afar. Cute.
She's snapped back out of her thoughts by Aizawa continuing his not-so-great TED talk.
"Were you planning to break your bones again? Counting on someone else to save your useless body", he asks, staring into the poor boys eyes.
The rest of the conversation she kind of drowns out. Aimi's tired and wants to get back to these tests so she can finally nap. Thinking about lunch and the quiet she's going to have, Aimi doesn't realize Midoriya got to try again.
