Our group proceeds to Viridian City. Leon proudly walks up to the gym's door ready to walk in and fight and claim his first gym badge. Before he could open the door, he's stopped by a local resident.
???: Woah kid, chill out. You can't walk into a gym while the gym leader is gone.
Leon: Then where is he, I need to get my first badge.
???: He hasn't been here for a while. Oh yeah, sorry for not introducing myself, you can call me Jim, I work as a guide for gyms.
Leon: So what do you want us to do then?
Jim: If I were you, I'd move on to Pewter City gym and come back later.
Leon: Alright then!
Leon drags his 2 friends passed route 2 and onto Viridian Forest. As they stroll through the forest, the Pokedex suddenly beeped.
CATERPIE REGISTERED.
Then out of a tree a small Pokeboy caterpie fall and lands on Ivy's head.
Caterpie: Please...help...me.
Down from the tree, drops a weedle Pokegirl as she launches poison stings at Leon and Wart. Luckily Ivy was fast enough to block the attack with her vine whip. The weedle Pokegirl scurries off before they could react.
Caterpie: Thank you for helping me. I can't walk on my own so can you take me to my nest, I can properly thank you there.
Ivy picks up the small boy and the group follow the directions of the child.
