Cerulean city. A beautiful city flowing with water and blooming with flowers. But our heroes aren't here for sightseeing, they're here to challenge the gym that resides here. They meet up with a different gym guide Jim told them about named Jem.
Jem: If you planning on actually beating Cerulean's gym leader then you'll all the info I'm about to share. First her name is Misty, she's a water specialist and has 2 pokemon.
Leon: I guess I'll sit this one out. Unlike in Pewter city, I don't have any super effective moves and I'm weak to water.
Wart: Ivy should definitely go since she's a grass type, but who else?
Una: Otto, you should go, I've reached my peak till I evolve so I don't want to go in with such weak moves.
Otto: Okay then, if everyone is okay with it, me and Ivy will face off against Misty.
Jem: Hold on I'm not finished. Misty's ace pokemon is a Starmie, a water-psychic type, meaning if she gets the first hit off she'll decimate this Bulbasaur girl.
Leon: Then let's do some training before the gym battle.
Jem: Alright then, if you go over there you'll see nugget bridge, if your able to defeat all 5 trainers you're rewarded with a small nugget of pure gold! Great training and some money!
Leon: Then let's head over! Perfect opportunity to evolve the rest of our party.
They beat the trainers one by one, and not too long after they reach the end, with neither Una, Otto, or Ivy evolving.
Wart: Dang it. At least its not a total waste of time because we at least can get this nugget.
???: That's right! For conquering the nugget bridge you shall be rewarded with a nugget, a ball made of solid gold! But first...may I interest you all in joining team rocket? After seeing your abilities, you'll make great grunts and could even rise the ranks to executives.
Leon: Oh my god again?! You guys are so annoying! We just left Mt. Moon dealing with you idiots and not even an hour later we have to again. Screw this I'm tired. Ivy, Una, Otto, just see this loser as the final boss of this bridge and destroy him. Wart lets go get some sleep my injures from the Dodrio dude still kinda hurt.
Wart: Same but we can't just leave them here.
Leon: It's a 3 on 1 they'll be fine.
The 2 boys leave, while the grunt is fumming after hearing such disrespect to him and his organization and prepares to tale his anger out on these 3 girls.
Grunt: Drowzee go! We'l deal with these girls then get back at those other kids!
