#AMAHLE

I had all my meetings cancelled for this and I was hoping he would do the same. I get it I haven't been the best wife, I know. but come on. The last thing you would want to walk into is your husband hugging his ex. What's the first thing that would pop into your mind as any sane woman? The kids were at the reception with Liv, Liv was another version of Pat but unlike Pat he didn't know me as well as Pat knew me. Today I got off work early so that my husband and I could spend the rest of the day with the kids.

Him: Amahle

Me: what's going on here?

Jade: uhhm hey Amahle, it's not what you think

Me: and what is it that I think Jade

Him: Look Jade I'll have Liv call you ok.

Her: thank you so much Damon

Was he seriously going to pretend as if I wasn't there and plan their next meeting? Jade stood up and approached me. I noticed that her buttons weren't buttoned properly. I looked at her and shook my head.

Her: it was nice seeing you Amahle

With that she walked out. I was still in awe, what just happened here?

Him: I didn't know you were coming

Me: so that you could get Jade out before I came in right?

Him: Jade was here seeking for help

Me: really now Damon?!

Him: Really now Amahle?

Me: what kind of help was she seeking Damon that required her buttons buttoned up the wrong way huh?

Him: what? What are you talking about Amahle?

Me: you and Jade Damon

Him: who are you and what have you done to my wife? Since when do you not trust me?

Me: I walk into your office and you and your ex are busy looking cosy. What am I supposed to think Bess?

Him: I'm not doing this. We are not doing this Amahle.

Just then the kids walked in

Them: Daddy!

Asemahle jumped to hug her father tight and he picked her up.

Him: hey you guys. Aren't you supposed to be in school?

Melo: nope. It's 2 O'clock already daddy. School's out

Iya: tomorrow is Valentine's day and we supposed to wear red and white

He put Mahle down. And leaned on the table.

Melo: they told us there's going to be a show tomorrow and we have to pay R10 for the ticket

Ase: we even have a letter but it's in mummy's car

Him: I'll see it at home.

His office phone rang.

Him: Liv what's up?

Liv: I was calling to confirm your meeting with Mr Schneider

Him: You'll have to reschedule all my meetings for the rest of today to another day ok

Liv: but Mr Bess, Mr Schneider won't be available for the next three months. If you don't see him today

He looked at me and I nodded.

Him: fine I'll meet with him but after that schedule the rest

Liv: yes, sir.

With that he cut the call.
