#DAMON

I woke up thanks to my alarm although I was kind of shocked, I mean my wife normally calls to wake me up but not today. I tried to call her but her phone went to voicemail so I tried calling my parents but nope, no luck there either. Their phones went straight to voicemail too. I figured they were probably in a no network area so I let them be and went to my meeting after the rental car was delivered to the hotel. My meeting went well and we were opening another Marketing company branch here in Cali. I called Dae and little bro told me he was at the barber getting a haircut, I asked him to send me his location and he did just that so I drove off to him.

Me: hey little one

Him: you need to stop calling me that

Me: you are the last born after all

Him: argh whatever. Isn't the wife and the parents supposed to be arriving?

Me: they should but they haven't called me

Him: well call them idiot. They can't afford to miss my graduation

Me: it's at 1pm chill.

Him: no its at 12. I can't chill

Me: fine let me try calling them again

I went outside because it was noisy inside. I tried calling them again but still got their voicemails, I was now worried. I mean where could they be? I went back inside.

Him: and?

He was done cutting and paying.

Me: their phones go straight to voicemail

Him: I don't understand

Me: you and me both

He took out his phone

Me: what are you doing?

Him: trying my luck

He tried calling and by the look on his face he was getting the same results as I.

Me: let's go grab something to eat I'm starving

Him: I know just the spot

He got in his car and I followed behind him, we started off at his flat seeing that it was closer and he took his graduation gear and put it in my rental then we drove off to a restaurant. We ordered and waited for our meals. I was unrelaxed, I mean how could I be relaxed when my wife's phone kept ringing unanswered?

Him: relax. They going to come through

Me: that would sound a lot better if you yourself believed what you were saying right now

Him: it's unlike any of them to switch their phones off when travelling

Me: I know, which is why I can't just sit here and expect them to rock up

Him: look, if something's happened to them I'm pretty sure we would know by now

Me: I'd like to think so but how can I not worry?

Just then Damien's phone rang

Me: is it one of them?

Him: no its Amber.

He put his phone on speaker.

//Her: hey little brother

Him: I told Damon to quit calling me that, now I have to tell you too

Her: well his also "little brother" to me

Me: yeah yeah we get it you the first born missy

Her: how are you guys?
