I reached Jaisalmer and went to her home. Through the whole journey i cant stop thinking about her.. she is just so beautiful and i always wonder how she completes me.. she fits in every puzzles of my life.. Her smile , her eyes her everything is so beautiful for me .. i can't wait to meet her .. i can't wait to meet my mahi ... I reached home and I could only see her mom there to welcome me. "Where's Mahi?" I asked her mom, but she remained silent. "Mom? Mahi?" I persisted. "Sakshi," her mom said. I went to Sakshi; she was there on her bed. "Sakshi, how are you?" I asked. "Oh Sid, you're back. I'm good now that you're here," she said. I smiled at her and then asked about Mahi's whereabouts. Sakshi looked at me shockingly. "What, she didn't tell you?" she said. "What?" I asked still couldn't believe what just she said...
"She went to achieve her dreams and to study more, She left India " she said. What? "I can't understand... what?" I asked. "Just two days ago, she packed her bag and informed us that she's going out to study further and achieve her dream. She also gave me the signed divorce papers and told me to give them to you when you are back," she said, showing me the divorce papers.
I was numb. I took the papers and saw that Mahi had signed each one. i couldn't believe my eyes .."Where did she go?" I asked. "She didn't tell us anything, and obviously, whatever we all did to her is wrong. So, Dad just gave her his blessings and money and told her to go and study," she said. "What? No, she can't do this." I was taken aback. "But Sakshi, just yesterday I called her, and we talked. She didn't tell me anything," I said. "Why would she tell you? You're not her husband anymore," she said. I wished I could shout at Sakshi. I went out. "Sid," I looked back; it was her mom. She handed me the note. "Before leaving, Mahi told me to give this to you," she said. I immediately opened it.
"I know I am going without telling you, but I think it's necessary. I am going out of your life so that you can marry Sakshi di. She's weak, she loves you, she needs you, and she needs your support .. i am strong enough to let you go but i am not strong enough to face that .. I can't face that. Also, she found you first, so she deserves you more. Stay happy, and please don't look out for me now, not you, not anyone. Let me do what I want to do. I always wish the best for you and best for our families... please take care of my family and lots of love to the aunty .. at the end I love you, Sid."
Tears started dropping from my eyes. i hold myself together and looked up to find Mahi's mom standing.. "Mom, do you at least know where she is?" I asked. "No beta, even I don't know, and we are no one to stop her. She is already hurt," she said, tears filling her eyes.
i nodded at her mom and went to her room, i sat on the same chair where we spent so many evenings together... why did you left me mahi... you should know i am nothing with out you mahi... nothing .. i am incomplete without you mahi ... how do you even think about it that i am gonna marry sakshi ... I told you everything that how i started loving you.. Thinking about the fact that you are not here any more..i couldn;'t control myself and cried my eyes out ...
Why, Mahiii, why? Now I understand what she meant that day; she understood... she took it the wrong way. Shit, Siddharth, you should have explained it to her. Mahiiii, why? I started crying like a baby. How will I live without her? When I said I love you, I meant it. Why, Mahi, why? I tried calling her, but her number is not reachable. I checked her social media account; it's deleted. Shit, there's no point of contact left. "Shitttt," I shouted and punched the wall. "Get yourself together Sid..you have to find your Wife.. you can't cry like a baby everytime" i slowly murmured to myself.. i looked at her room and opened her wardrobe trying to find anything.. any document which can led me where she is gone too .. but i couldn't find anything ..Why Mahi? How can she even think that I am going to sign these papers? Never in my life. She is my only wife. Mahi, wherever you are, I am going to find you. Thinking about this i sat on her bed ..i looked down and found a wrapped paper ..i picked it up and tried to open it.. i opened it care fully trying not to tear it ... i can see from writing, It is written by mahi .. i tried to open it to see more clearly what was she writing ...

I know i am leaving you but i don't have nay choice left ..Marrying you was not my choice but leaving you is my choice.. Although never in my wildest dream i thought its going to be so hard for me.. but i left with no choice .. I hope we met again .. I hope we marry again.. I hope we have our dream house.. i hope this time there is no one between us ... I hope we have our perfect marriage but i guess we can have all this in any other universe or may be any other lifetime .. I don't know how i am going to live without you because i have fallen for you hard..but for sakshi di and for you ... i--
Then she made a cut mark and i guess she threw it ... But why mahi .. i love you so much ... i kept that note in my pocket and went away...
