Chapter 11: A New Beginning

"I wanna be a demon slayer," Elizabeth said. Baiko and Shinobu became worried. "Are you sure? It's not really safe," Shinobu said. Elizabeth nodded her head. "Yes, I'm sure,' Elizabeth confirmed. Shinobu sighed. "Okay. Your training starts tomorrow," Shinobu said. She then started to walk away. "Wait! Where's Natsuki," Elizabeth asked. "Well, we saw that she was a demon so we were going to kill her. However, Baiko stood up for her," Shinobu explained. Elizabeth looked at Baiko. Baiko smiled brightly. "I know how much she means to you," Baiko said. "Baiko promised that if Natsuki ate a human, she would commit seppuku," Shinobu said. Elizabeth's eyes widened. "Suicide," She thought. "Well, where is Natsuki now," Elizabeth asked. "She in another room with another demon named Nezuko," Shinobu said. Elizabeth got out of the bed. "Okay. Thank you. Baiko, let's go get some food," Elizabeth said. "Okay, but before that, you might wanna get dressed," Baiko said. Elizabeth looked at herself to find that she was in panties and a bra. She blessed slightly. Later on, Elizabeth and Baiko were eating. "Why are you so nice to me," Elizabeth asked. Baiko looked at Elizabeth. "You're a lot like my younger sister. She was unfortunately killed by a demon. That's why I joined," Baiko said. Elizabeth looked down at the ground. "I may not be your real sister but, I can be your adoptive sister if you want," Elizabeth said. Baiko smiled. "Thanks little sister," Baiko thanked. A young boy came up to them. "Hi Tanjiro," Baiko said. Tanjiro waved. "Hello Baiko. Who's this," He asked. "This is my sister, Hibiki," Baiko introduced. Tanjiro crouched down. "Hello there Hibiki," Tanjiro said. Elizabeth looked nervous. "Hi," She said. Tanjiro looked puzzled. "This girl. She doesn't smell human. But she doesn't smell like a demon either. She smells like metal and oil," Tanjiro thought. Suddenly, Tanjiro's crow flew to him. "You have a new mission. New mission to the North-East," The crow said. "Well, I gotta get going. Bye Baiko," Tanjiro said as he headed off. "Bye Tanjiro," Baiko said. Elizabeth stood up. "Where are you going," Baiko asked. "I'm just gonna walk around," Elizabeth said. Baiko wiped the dust off her katana sheath. "Okay. Have a nice walk," She said.
