"fuck" Scaramouche said smashing some papers on the floor as I passed by. "What's wrong?" I asked "I don't trust la Signora.. she just wanted to get involved. This is my thing" "Who is this Signora?" I asked confused "Eighth of the eleven fatui harbingers" he explained
"What number is Childe?" I asked "Didn't he tell you?" He asked surprised "No he didn't want to" I said as he made a small laugh "That's because he's the eleventh"
I stayed silent for a second "AHAHAH" I just laughed at that "Poor little Childe.. wait.. this means you are above him" I stated "Yea of course I am. Did you think the opposite..?" He asked worried "M-maybe.." "I'm offended now, get out" he said "No scaraaaa" I said as I sat on a chair in front of his desk
"So what's your rankkkk??" i asked "I'm not telling you" "Are you the twelfth?" I said smirking
"I'm the sixth!" "Oh" "What's that supposed to mean?" "I was starting to think you were like the first or something" "Then fight me is you're so disappointed" "Damn so aggressive!" I said smirking. I then started picking up the papers he threw on the floor
"Can I meet this Signora?" I asked exited "No, absolutely not" he said "Aww why?" "She will traumatise you" he explained "But you are the sixth and you didn't traumatise me! ..at all" I said "Still a no and now go meet your dear friends" he said as he started staring at some papers "Fine"
Today Aether was somewhere with a new friend of his named Teppei that was on the verge of dying because of a delusion so I decided to just go the tea house and meet Thoma, he couldn't go outside so I decided to keep him company.
We had lunch together and talked about other nations and other random things. Ayaka wasn't here today since she had to meet some guests at the Kamisato estate.
That evening I went back home and saw Scaramouche in a really good mood. He had a small smile on his face while walking around in his room. "Are you exited about something..?" I asked "oh you're back" he said trying to look more normal "Close your eyes" he said. I was confused and yet listened to him.
He took both my hand and gave me something. "Open your eyes" he said. I looked down.
It was my vision.
I could feel my motivation getting more intense.
I literally jumped on him and we fell on his bed. "Thank you so much!" He didn't reply
"Are you there?" I asked realising the position we were in. I lifted my head up to find a really flustered Scaramouche. He looked like a tomato. I started blushing too. "I'm sorry I just couldn't held the excitement.. ehe" I said slowing moving away. But he immediately grabbed my waist and pulled me down again with him. "Just an other minute.." he said as I slowly leaned closer making him get he wasn't annoying me.
His chest was warm, yet his hands were cold. We stayed there in a comfortable silence, at least for me. I wanted to stay like this forever
"Mm.. alright, sorry" he said getting up "I-it's fine.." I said.
"Is it true that there will be a fireworks festival?" I asked him at dinner "Yes there is, but you won't be able to go if you come to Lyue with me" he explained "That's why you made me see fireworks at the shrine?" I asked "Yes Sherlock" he replied as I made a small laugh
He is getting more comfortable I can feel it. He seems to like me back but I'm to scared to ask. But I have an idea: Childe.
"I have another question" I asked "Go on" "How did you get the vision back?" I asked really curiously "Uhh you really want to know..?" He asked looking down "Yea"
"u will hate me for this so no" he replied looking down "I promise I won't. Even.. if it involves Aether" I said hesitant He looked at me with penetrant eyes. He didn't trust me. "Scara, I know you do things that in normal people's eyes aren't.. really good, but it's alright." I stated "God.. you really know how to use words to convince someone.." "thanks to Childe" I said
"Well, I went to the Shrine and asked Yae Miko for help but refused so.." "So?" "Uh.. I may have tortured some guards of the Kanjo commission I believe and snatched the vision before they could put it on the Shogun's statue.. it still emanated light." he added at the end
"Oh.. thanks" I said He looked at me with complete guess "Don't look at me like that! If you killed people for me.. then I should be grateful" I said "But.. the next time try something less.. violent" I added making a small laugh "F-fine.." he hummed
I started to think about Lyue and a big doubt came to my mind "Scara.." "Yea?" "When you went to Lyue.. did you sleep at Childe's mansion..?" I asked "Yea" he said clueless about what I was thinking about "which room..?" "He had only one guest room.. I guess it was the one next to his" he said
"Is something the matter?" He asked still clueless "O-of course not!" I said
After that we went to bed
