Cathy and Anne were not close. Not friends. Not acquaintances. Nothing.

It's not like they didn't like each other, they most definitely did, it was just that Cathy wasn't allowed near her because Anne was deemed to be a terrible influence that makes, let's say, not necessarily thought through decisions.

And Anne was was trying to impress her, maybe make her laugh, or ideally make her get butterflies and feel fuzzy. Unfortunately Anne's bragging behaviour made her act more careless and therefore made Cathy think that every bad thing about Anne was the most accurate.

But Anne couldn't get close to Cathy, since Cathy kept pulling away the second they got talking.

Anne wasn't aware that Cathy had a real reason to do so. She thought Cathy just didn't like her.

Actually it was Aragon telling Cathy all the horrible things Anne ever did, never any of the good stuff, and there was a lot of that actually. She just didn't know anything about it.

So obviously when they get locked into Anna's bathroom, it gets very awkward.

How they got in this situation? Easy, their mutual friend, Anna, locked them in there for fun.

Anna had invited the two, without the other knowing, lured the first in the bathroom and when the other came along she was also put in there, they got locked in and Anna went to watch the hunger games to complain about details.

Her goal was to get the two talking, maybe they'd even end up friends! And that'd be awesome! If they ended up friends, they could join her watching.

But let's get back to now, Anne was pacing around Anna's giant bathroom and Cathy sat on a stool in some corner.

"Well, why do you think Anna put us here?" Cathy asked after a sigh.

Anne shrugged, "I don't know, seems like a plan she made at three in the morning. But what's the plan..."

Cathy looked up at her, "no idea, but there are two boxes, maybe we should check them out?"

"Should we though? This is Anna's house, we shouldn't be snooping around."

"They're green and blue," Cathy pointed out, "also there's an A and C. I have reason to suspect they're for us," she finished pretty bluntly.

"Oh. Why didn't you say so?"

"I don't know, I didn't think you'd listen."

Anne shrugged and handed Cathy her box.

Annoyed, Cathy opened it, "wow. Okay."

On it's floor it read 'since you won't on your own, kiss her already :)'.

"Yeah no, I don't think so," Cathy closed it again and turned to look in the mirror.

"What does yours say?" Anne popped up behind her, "mine says to ovary up, not quite sure why."

"Doesn't matter," Cathy held the box close to her chest.

"But I wanna see!" Anne whined playfully, "Cathy please!"

Cathy froze at that. A weird feeling was tingling in her stomach. Maybe she was imagining it, but she felt like her face was reddening.

Curiously Anne tilted her head and grinned, "Cathy?" She looked at Cathy in the mirror.

"That is Catherine to you. Or Parr," Cathy furrowed her brows at her.
