Parrward, Aralyn, Clevemour

@SweetestHumanrat requested this so I decided to be a little shit and write pure chaos
Sorry not sorry ;)

--------------

Anne had been following Catalina around for a few days now. So of course when Anne went to use the bathroom, Catalina took the chance to go to Anne's room and lock herself in. This way, Anne wouldn't find her as easily.

With her phone on airplane mode and music on her headphones, Catalina started mindlessly scrolling through some images her friends had sent her over the past couple of weeks. In peace, Anne couldn't annoy her over text either.

Anne, who didn't yet know she wouldn't be able to cling to Catalina as quickly again, started happily skipping around the house.

She went through rooms, checking if Catalina would be in any.

She went in the bathrooms, even though she could pretty confidentially say she wasn't there.

The kitchen, where she could only see Jane and Anna making tea unnecessarily close to each other.

The living room was empty and so was Catalina's room and any other places she could think of.

Anne frowned in defeat, she checked Jane and Anna's rooms, also not getting results. Kat's room was empty as well, but that wasn't as much of a surprise.

"Cathyyy," Anne dramatically dropped to her knees in said girl's room, Kat, not used to Anne's childish ways, worriedly turned to Cathy. (Normally Anne managed to stay responsible and the adult around Kat and Jane so that she would stay obvious as the oldest one)

"I'm dyyyying," Anne wailed.

Kat opened her mouth with the original intention to ask what was wrong, but Anne's expression changed to normal within a second, "Heya Kitty!" she grinned.

"What is it this time, Anne," Cathy rolled her eyes, stopping to pat Kat in their cuddling position, "I'm kind of busy right now." To prove her point, she pointed at Kat.

"You don't understand.. My heart.. it's falling apaaaaart!" Anne sobbed out.

"Anne," Cathy warned.

"Yeah, yeah. I can't find Catalina," Anne stood up and fixed her clothes.

"Where have you checked?" Kat asked, trying to hide that she wanted Anne to leave by pretending to know how to help.

"Both of your rooms, her room, Jane and Anna's rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living room, garden, basement," Anne counted.

Cathy pinched the bridge of her nose, "have you checked your room?"

Anne's face lit up with realisation, "thanks Parr!" and one blink later she was gone again.

"How come I never saw her act like that before?" Kat thought out loud.

"She doesn't want to bother you," Cathy hummed while hugging Kat closer.

Anne tried to open her bedroom door, but she found that it was locked. So of course the only logical thing to do wasn't to knock, but to instantly get out a bobby pin.

(You should never ask Anne how she was able to pick locks without breaking them, unless you wanted your own hair stuffed in your lungs the next morning.)

"Hey Catalinaaa!" Anne sang, after successfully getting into the room. She saw Catalina sitting on her bed, at that, she had a fun little idea.

"I swear on my life, Anne, what do you want?" she sighed, not even looking up from her phone, but putting away the headphones.
