Jeno guided Jaemin through the foyer of his house and into the living room. Lucas and Yuta followed them inside, and Johnny and Jihyo walked in last.

It had taken them a half an hour to arrive to Jeno's house, which was a part of a gloomy, cookie-cutter neighborhood. But on the inside, the house wasn't much. The lights were dim and flickering. There were a few faint brown spots on the popcorn ceiling, which signaled minor water damage. Probably from all the rain, Jaemin thought. The living room, however, was filled with bulky music equipment and instruments. Most of them were still plugged in to the huge surround sound system, and Jaemin had to be mindful to not step on the wires all over the floor.

"You can sit here," Jeno said, carefully sitting Jaemin down on the sectional. It was so soft that Jaemin felt like he was sinking in. Everyone else got settled. They took their shoes and coats off, which Jaemin thought was a stupid idea.

"I'm cold," Jaemin complained, still loopy from all that wine.

"You literally have a thick coat on."

"But its freezing in here."

"Ugh. Fine." Jeno rolled his eyes and went off to the closet. He pulled out a weighted blanket with a tiger on it and brought it to Jaemin to cover him up. "There. Better now?"

Jaemin got all giddy and pulled the blanket all the way up to his face to feel it. He kicked off his shoes, then put his knees up to his chest to bundle himself up beneath it. "Yes... it's so warm." He rested his head on the armrest and watched the singer lovingly.

"Good." Jeno sat beside him. But when he glanced back up, his friends were staring at him. "What?!"

"Aw, you're such a gentleman!" Johnny cooed. But Jihyo smacked his arm for teasing.

Yuta smirked. "You know... you never did tell us what happened after the rehearsal."

"You guys are nosy as shit." Jeno sighed. "I went to Jaemin's rehearsal. They were being assholes to him, so I told them off and got him out of there."

"And then we ate some brunch!" Jaemin admitted, his hands hiding his shy face. Everyone cooed at how cute he looked. But the way Jeno blushed proved to them that it wasn't just a simple outing for brunch.

Yuta nodded. "Yup. Now I'm convinced something happened."

The room was suddenly filled with laughter. But Jeno wasn't having it... not one bit. "Don't play with me. You and Johnny are still on my shit list."

Jihyo was the only one with common sense at that moment, so she changed the subject. "So what should we do now?"

It was a fun night cut short by drama. Nobody really knew what to do... they all sat down, quiet as could be despite the elephant in the room. It wasn't until Johnny suggested putting on a movie to calm their nerves and they all agreed. So he took the remote to turn the TV on and searched for one.

Meanwhile... Lucas was giving Jeno the death stare of a lifetime. And Jeno knew to be very careful with his actions... or else Lucas would kill him.

Jaemin abruptly sat up. "Jeno, is this really your house?" he asked. "I think it looks nice."

Jeno glanced at him with a confused look. What kind of question was that? Of course it was his house! Oh the things alcohol does to someone. "Uh... yeah? We all live here."

"Do you guys share rooms?"

"Yuta, Johnny, and Lucas sleep down here. I sleep upstairs. We practice a lot in the living room."

"I can tell... there's so much stuff down here."

"Yeah..." Jeno chuckled. But there was still a cloud of guilt overcast above his head. He felt so bad... he couldn't look at Jaemin's innocent, tipsy eyes. "I'm so sorry for making you like this..." Jeno began. "And I'm sorry that Mark ruined our night. Twice in a row, this has happened to us. I don't get it."
