It was 7pm, just after sunset. As the couple rested upstairs, Lucas kept himself busy.

See, after Jaemin and Jeno went upstairs, Lucas decided to try contacting Yuta again. But the phone kept going straight to voicemail, and he left plenty of them. Johnny and even Jihyo tried to contact Yuta, but there was no use. And after a heated discussion Lucas decided to go through Yuta's room.

Lucas switched on the light and headed straight to Yuta's large dresser. He opened up the first one and dug out Yuta's shirts to get to the bottom of it. Once it was empty and all the clothes were on the carpet, Lucas slammed the drawer shut, went to the next one and did the same thing.

Lucas didn't understand why Yuta was missing in action. He didn't know why Yuta could just abandon his friends, even his home. Everybody knew that Yuta was off lately... but Lucas never would've thought Yuta would just disappear like that. The entire incident was on the news! Did Yuta not care? Was Yuta guilty? Was he in trouble? Who knows. Yuta dropping off the face of the earth was proof that he was up to something. And in no time, Lucas emptied out the entire dresser, leaving all of the shirts, socks, pants, and underwear on the floor.

"Lucas, what are you looking for?" Johnny asked, frustrated.

Coming in to check on them, Jihyo gasped at the mess. "On the floor? Really?"

"Yeah, really," Lucas grumbled. He headed over to Yuta's wardrobe and opened it up. He checked the pockets of the clothes hanging inside, tossing them on the floor afterwards. "I'm not leaving this room until I find whatever it is Yuta's hiding."

"I just don't think this is necessary-"

"Yes it is, Johnny!" Lucas yelled. "You and I both know he is hiding something from us... something he's too ashamed to show face for. He thinks he's slick but I will find out, even if it means going through his shit."

"I don't blame Lucas." Jihyo shrugged. She went over to the bed and sat on it. "As wrong as it may seem... Yuta doesn't deserve any privacy. He knows damn well what happened that night, I'm sure of it... he didn't think of our feelings. He didn't even come to the hospital. So why should we care about Yuta's feelings?"

Yuta was doing everyone dirty by being gone... and Johnny hated that it was the same person who he considered family. But sadly... family isn't always trustworthy. "I guess... part of me is still processing it..."

"Well, process it faster." Lucas told him. "Because when I find it, I'm coming after him." Just then, Lucas pulled out the last coat hanging inside the wardrobe. He checked the pockets, only pulling out half-empty boxes of cigarettes and small coins. However, just like the rest of the coats, this one was clean. Lucas angrily threw it to the floor again. "Damn it!"

Lucas stomped over to the closet and continued his search. Johnny glanced around Yuta's messy room, poking his chin, trying to think of another place Yuta might hide things. But then he noticed Jihyo sitting on the mattress with her legs crossed.

Johnny came over and gently took her hand. "Wait, Jihyo, stand up."

"Why?"

"I want to see something." Johnny helped her get off the bed. Then he bent over and used his strength to lift the mattress high up with his arms. Jihyo noticed him struggling so she held the mattress up to support it. And what they saw made them gasp.

"Holy shit," Jihyo exclaimed. "Lucas, come here!"

The eldest stopped what he was doing. "What?"

"Take a look."

Lucas came to the bed. "Oh my gosh... it all makes sense."

On the box spring was a thick pile of money and a few clear bags of what Lucas assumed to be marijuana. His intuition was correct... Mark and Donghyuck were involved. But let's be honest, was it really a surprise?
