Days turned in weeks and weeks turned in Months, Tails had adjusted to Zero being with Sonic, seeing how much his best friend had slowly gone back to being himself, with of course a few differences...the young fox really couldn't blame Sonic, the War had messed a lot of Mobains up...as well as the torturing the Sonic went through when he was in captivity.
As for his friends, they didn't take the news well, not even the Alphas, out of his group of friends Sonic was the only Omega. It was like a constant mini war between them, and it didn't help that Amy was apart of it, making the other Betas question how she is even a beta, and not an Alpha herself.
"How can you trust him Tails!" Knuckles growled, Zero had taking Sonic out, the young fox didn't mind as long as he brought his adopted brother back home in one piece. "Because he's happy Knuckles...at first I wasn't...but then he told me what really happened on the Death Egg..."
"So what...He slaughter almost all of our troops during the war!" Amy piped in, folding her arms.
"Do you think I don't know that!" Tails shouted back, "But Sonic...he looked so happy...with him, when he came back after being in captivity, I could just see that he was hurt, and those scars aren't something to lie about."
"Look...I know this hard to adjust to...but I really think Zero had changed"
"Tsk...I doubt that, people like that don't just change after some war..." Amy scoffs
"For once...Amy is right, you probably didn't see it Miles, but I watched how our forces dropped...blasted and killing each other because of the illusions" Knuckles said as he just got up "But this doesn't mean I'm not going to keep an eye on him"
Tails was taken back, Knuckles hardly used his first his name, but the beta didn't have power over an alpha like Knuckles, he only nodded.
"And Tails...is the second Guest Room empty" Amy asked.
"Er Amy, you know Sonic wouldn't be happy if I let you stay here"
"I don't care, this is to keep my Sonikku safe!"
The young fox know there was no point in changing Amy's mind, but he shakes his head, "I can't Amy, but I'll let you visit"
"Hmph, Fine that's enough for me"
The fox only held his head, So far the only other person they didn't tell, was the hedgehog that Zero hated the most, Shadow...and there was no way that he was going to let Sonic tell Shadow that his soulmate was Zero. It was a long two hours the young Fox had to sit through, he had to listen to both Knuckles and Amy argue about Sonic's love life, none of them didn't even have that spark that Zero and Sonic did, when they saw the blue hedgehog. When they finally left the fox let out a sigh a relief, and face planted on the couch. He doesn't know what he was going to tell Sonic...about him being watched by Amy, and Knuckles. He looks at his phone, Sonic was send him pictures of the carnival date him and Zero went on. It was a little cliche but the cobalt hedgehog was a sucker for that kind of stuff, since he didn't have any idea on how to be romantic.
"I'm just happy...Sonic isn't depressed anymore..." Tails muttered to himself.
