Sonic was wearing a hoodie to hide his stomach, that had gotten bigger, he still was struggling, with his friends...but he kept Tails and Rouge up to date, mor often, on his finger was silver engagement ring, it's been a couple months when Zero purposed to him, at Dinner making a big scene for the media, the news still talk about it. The blue hedgehog was staying with Tails, Since Zero was busy with an assassin job, to get money.

The hedgehog was holding a glass of water, he had bags under his eyes, and his quills looked like a mess, he couldn't really have anything caffeine since it was harmful to the kiton.

"Just let me see him! Tails!" Amy called out, making the blue hedgehog just wanting to rip his ears off. "It's been four months!"

"No Amy!! Sonic is pregnant...and he doesn't need you putting pressure on him...it's already bad enough that Zero isn't here" Tails responded.

"Ze-Infinite...Left Sonic alone while he is fifteen weeks pregnant!" Amy shouted "I knew that jackal wasn't good"

Tails was pushed out of the way and Amy came rushing in, he saw the azure hedgehog, sitting in the kitchen, he looked very unhappy, and tired...mostly because of he was suffering mentally, the large hoodie covering his bulging stomach. "Oh my...Sonic" Amy said Tails picked himself off of the floor, he was ready for anything if Sonic finally snapped at one of his friends. So far the hedgehog hadn't snapped at him.

"You look terrible Sonic...I knew you were in happy with Infinite...leaving you like this...Once a bad gu-"

"SHUT. UP." Sonic growled, Amy flinched back. "I'm unhappy because you...Shadow and Knuckles!" The hedgehog stated.

"Sonic! You know that I right...Infinite is just a murdering vi-Wait a minute is that an engagement ring" Amy said before she gasps "SONIC!! You can't be marrying that likes of him!!"

"And why not Amy!" Sonic growled "Because he used to be a Murderer!!"

Tails swallows the lump in his throat.

"And he left you like this! Sonic, you know this is ba-"

"BAD!! Gee AMY I had no idea!" Sonic hissed he got out of his seat, "I got the same fucking talk from Shadow...I don't need...you telling me that thing..."

"Sonic, I'm only trying to help...I just don't think Infinite right for yo-"

Sonic just grunted, as he felt pain in his lower abdomen, Tails hurried over to Sonic. "Y-You did nothing for me Amy..." the hedgehog breathed "And I really want you to get it through your...thick skull" Sonic clutches his stomach, he didn't what was going on but his body hurts as if he was getting his limbs sawed off. "I don't like...you...and I never did"

"So-You don't mean that..." Amy whimpered.

"Amy...just go...you did enough damage..." Tails buts in. The pink hedgehog looked over at the other beta, before her version started to blur with her tears.

Zero was about to call Sonic, from the mission, he was safe in his hotel room, he was going to notify his fiancé, that he was coming home tomorrow, the target had been killed. As he was about to call his phone rang with a caller ID that he didn't recognize. He answers it.

"Hello?"

"Zero! Thank Chaos...I-It's Sonic, Tails wouldn't tell me what happened, and..."

"Rouge what's wrong! Did something happen to Sonic!?"

"...Just come to hospital...He needs you right now..."

With that the call ended, Zero removed his masked and shoves it into his travel back, he quickly opened the door and rushed out of the hotel, after returning the key, it was an emergency, and he didn't want to think the worst had happened to his Soulmate. Calling a taxi he told the driver to get to the airport.

Rouge stayed with Sonic, during the whole process, all the mental issues and stress, had made the poor hedgehog, have a miscarriage, losing the kiton. The bat was petting the sobbing hedgehog's quills to try and calm him down.

The door to the room was forced open and Zero came into the room, he just ignored a lot of the staff, since he could just sense that his soulmate was hurting, Rouge saw him, and motioned the hedgehog to look. "Z-Zero..." Sonic weeped out, as he held his arms out the jackal hugged him, and the azure hedgehog sobbed into him.

Rouge motioned that she would outside if Zero wanted to talk to her, right now she understood that Sonic needed his alpha.

"What happened? Are you hurt?!" Zero asked pulling a chair close to Sonic's hospital bed.

"T-the b-baby...Zero...I lost the baby..." Sonic choked out, Zero blinks before he just pulled the hedgehog into another hug, he was crying himself, but all he could do is blame himself, for leaving Sonic behind just cause they needed money, the blue hedgehog cried into Zero, it was a rough moment for the two.

It was an hour before Sonic finally passed out cause of the drugs that doctors gave to him. He was going be in the hospital for a while cause of the rough child birth.

"I'm sorry Zero..." Rouge said placing a hand on his shoulder

"It's my fault shouldn't have went on that mission...I struggle with Money...cause Robotnik heard about me and Sonic through the news, and he stopped paying m-"

"Tails told me...and no this isn't your fault...Amy came by earlier...and I had no idea Shadow was pressing Sonic" Rouge said as she folded her arms "You two can try again...I know it's going take so time for Sonic to move on...but just stay with him"

Zero nodded "And about the Money...I'll let G.U.N know...Sonic is a hero, so he gets pay through the government, I already have a bone to pick with Shadow for this"

"Thanks...For giving me a second chance and helping Sonic through that..." Zero said. Rouge only smiled the jackal and bat parted ways, he walked into the room Sonic was sleeping in, he will hold off on the wedding plans, after what happened today, he just need to keep Sonic safe, he takes a hold of the hedgehog's hand and run his hands through his quills.
