Secret Soulmate

Sonic rubs his eyes, when heard tapping on his window, opens the window, a black and white jackal climbed into the room, he had a massive scar on his chest where the phantom ruby was, he still had the same scar over his left eye, the jackal had a yellow eye and a blue eye, he was wearing a black jacket, and worn out baggy jeans, a dark blue arm band on his arm. This is Zero 'Infinite' Jackal. Sonic whimpers before he tackled Zero into a hug, making the jackal stumble back, but hugs the hedgehog back.

"Y-You c-came..." Sonic finally spoke, he was stuttering because he didn't know if this was a hallucination or the real deal, but seeing the jackal, and feeling him...it was to real, he looked into Zero's eyes both male's eyes spark when seeing each other, he wraps his arms around the other's neck, and sobs quietly. "I'm...S-Sorry..." He cried out.

Zero holds onto Sonic's face and rubs his tears away with his thumbs, "You were only doing the right thing" he pulls the azure male into a kiss on the lips, the hedgehog kissed him back. The two parted "I missed you...I'm sorry it took me five years"

"I-I...I'm just g-glad your alive..." Sonic stuttered.

The jackal pulls the hedgehog back into a soft kiss on his lips, the hedgehog adjusted himself onto his soulmates lap, he lets out a soft moan into the kiss, feeling Zero push his tongue into the hedgehog's mouth, he hands trancing up Sonic's body...he pulls his muzzle away his soulmate's lip a thick strain of saliva between the two tongues. Sonic pants heavily as he just nuzzles into his head underneath Zero's head, he purrs softly. "I...I love y-you"

"Love you too" Zero said, he looks at Sonic's messing quills and just chuckles to himself, the hedgehog really needed a hair cut.

When Sonic woke up, he was wearing a Zero's jacket, he gets out of he's bed he walks into the bathroom, he lets out a yawn he flips on the lights and sees that his quills had been trimmed and brushed, and that he was wearing Zero's jacket, the hedgehog blinks before he smiled, his tail wagging as he hugged himself close, he looked happier, and in love...something that hadn't felt in five years since the war.

"I'm okay...with keeping this a secret, Zero...as long as you promise to visit me" Sonic thought to himself, before he groaned, feeling pain in his abdomen, opening the medicine cabinet and taking out his supplements, the bottle was still full...after the war he'd mostly locked himself in his room, so he didn't really need to take his supplements since Tails only visited to check on him...and give him food. He takes the single pill swallowing it down, using the tab water to use it down, he climbs back into his bed he wraps his arms around the pillow that had Zero's scent on it, he purrs happily.
