The customer, known as Allie, couldn't get the woman she met out of her mind. Her outgrown wolf cut, tied in a small pony, the way she talked, even her fake smile. Even her fake smile charmed Allie. She made a plan to make time every day, to atleast become friends with her. And if she said no, no it is. It'd be sad, but Allie could take it. At work, even her coworkers asked about her daydreaming stare. "Oh Allie, what boy could be on your mind? Poor them, dealing with you!" They teased, snickering. "Allie, oh dear naive Allie, don't get interested in boys. How old is this boy?" Her best friend, Myla, asked. "Not that far from my own age, I guess. Around 18-20!" She giggled and had teased Allie like the others had, "Allie, you are 19. Isn't 20 too old, and 18 too young? Pick a boy your own age!" Allie had accidentally ignored whenever they mentioned 'boy', because the person wasn't a male at all. "Myla, tell me. You know everything, tell me how to get closer to them!" She smirked and had bullied Allie for pleading her on friendship tips. Allie had denied it, saying "No, just advice, not tips! I want to get closer to them.", which always had to have Myla sarcastically agreeing. "Alright, alright! Only for you, Al!" Myla finally agreed to help.

They scurried away to a private desk space, which was Allie's, and began to talk. "First of all, how close do you want to be to this special person?" "I don't know, but close enough." Myla frowned, furrowing her brows. "What is close enough?" "Their number, their friendship, I want to be close friends with them!" She massaged her temple, and Allie assumed she was getting a headache. "Al, I'm going to go out on a roll here and say you just met this person for the first time. I know I'm correct. Atleast get their name." Allie scowled and argued, "I do know their name, it's Victoria! I've gotten permission to call them Vicky!" Myla gaped, jaw open.

"Oh wow." Allie was confused. "You swing that way, huh?.." "What way?" Myla cleared her throat. "Nothing. Let's continue our pep talk for you." Allie was recharged with nervous excitement, anxious to hear her best friend's advice. "First step, meet more, talk more, gain their trust, you get the gist." She nodded, anticipation bubbling around her. "Come back to me once you get their number." "Alright!"
