A bad day at the shop. The customer slammed their hands on the counter, spilling their drink, and demanding a refund. Victoria couldn't give them that refund since they had already drank from the cup and even spilled it, and she remembers clearly that they ordered that. "Fine, then get me another drink." "You'll pay?" The customer nodded, frowning. Victoria didn't think much of it and got to work.

Victoria handed him the drink, and asked for payment. "Alright, you want payment? Sure." He hurled the drink at her, sprinting out of the shop. Now, she was soaked in coffee. Ice coffee. In below zero degree weather. She told her coworkers that she had to change, and they offered her a extra set of clothing and a extra apron. Thank her coworkers, always prepared. They've been there longer than her, so they must have gotten a drink thrown at them atleast once. She took that chance to clock out, but her coworker stopped her. "Vicky, so soon? Over iced coffee?" They sighed, upset. "Well, I'm not going to stay. I'll use this day as a me day. I need to shower anyways." Her coworker thankfully understood, and let her go.

She put on her coat and was out the door with greasy, tied up hair when she bumped into somebody. "Oh, Vicky!" Victoria silently groaned. Her luck was horrible today. "Hello, miss." Allie frowned, displeased. "No, no! My name's Allie." "Alright, Allie. Coffee's inside, see you later." Allie grabbed her arm but quickly retracted. "Oh, uh.. you're leaving?" Victoria nodded, trying to hide her scowl. "Ah, well, not like I needed coffee that much. Where are you going?" "Home." Allie flushed. "Oh! I was hoping if we could meet later, maybe somewhere in the evening?" Vicky raised a eyebrow. "Like, as a hangout?" Allie nodded excitedly. "No."
