Back at the coffee shop, when Myla had arrived before Allie, she had made Victoria uncomfortable. She said she knew something, and before the topic could go any further, Allie had rushed in.

Victoria had to get ready. She had around 2 hours, and her shift ended in 30 minutes.

Riki came up to her, awkward. "Uh, do you know how to make this?" She pointed to something on their menu, a certain special seasonal drink. Victoria stared at her, unimpressed. "Alright, alright!! Not my fault random drinks keep getting added. It's always Andy's idea too!" Victoria frowned, and signaled Andy over. "Yeah?" "I'm gonna show Riki how to make something, take over the register." He shook his head apologetically. "Nah, Adam can't make anything for his life. Have to stay in the kitchen. I'll get Adam over here." Riki led Victoria to the back.

"It says.. ugh.." Riki groaned. At this point, Victoria was convinced she needed glasses. "It says, chopped... almonds?" Victoria blinked. Chopped almonds?? Who adds that into a drink?? Victoria looked again, and there was foam in it too. "Why do you need to know how to make this..." Victoria asked, disgusted. "What if somebody asks?! We need to be prepared!! Preparation!!" Victoria sighed and got ready for the long 30 minutes ahead.

When her shift was finally over, Riki came up and patted her on the shoulder. Adam was behind her, frowning as usual. "You don't seem very happy, for a girl who's got a date." Adam blurted out. Andy paused, turning to stare at Adam. He never showed much interest in anything, and barely spoke unless necessary. "It's not a date. Her best friend is coming, too." Adam snorted. "Ha!" Victoria glared at him. For his first time laughing in awhile, he was being cocky. "Shut up." Victoria growled. She rolled her eyes and stretched her arms. 2 hours for preparation.

Before she left, Riki stopped her at the entrance, Adam behind her again. She handed Victoria a perfume. "Give it to the lady." She said, winking. Victoria took a long, good look at it, then frowned. "This is mine. I used it. You stole it." Riki blinked. "..Oh. I didn't steal it... you know what, nevermind! Have a nice day!" Riki grabbed Adam and sped behind the counter, running away from Victoria.

She went home and started to prep. She took a shower, put on a casual outfit, dried and tied her hair in a tiny ponytail, and got ready to leave. All that left her with just enough time. Her phone rang with a call from Allie.

"Yeah?" "I'm here!!" "What?" "I'm here at your house." Victoria didn't answer. Why was Allie at her house? "Did we agree on that?" "I mean, I have Myla here with me. Already picked her up." Victoria sighed and hung up.
