Allie had a sinking feeling in her chest. She had turned Victoria away for Myla, but she didn't even know what happened. When she asked Myla, she had avoided the question with another question. "Do you romantically like Victoria?" Allie was gagged. ".. I thought you knew?" Myla looked away. "Yeah, but I wanted to confirm. You really would date her?" "Yeah." The silence was loud. "Oh. Then.." Myla scratched her scalp, "I guess I'm in the wrong." Allie felt despair come over her. "What? Why?"

"I thought she was using you. I told her. To piss off."
Allie couldn't explain the sudden feeling of dread that rushed in.
Her heart sank.
"What?"
Her voice was hollow, echoing throughout the house.
"..I'm sorry."
She looked sorry. She did, really.
"Why?"
"I just.." Her head sunk into her hands.
Allie realized it when she started to speak again.
"I'm really sorry, I just didn't want it to end up the same as last time. I wanted her to know this wasn't a game."
She understood where Myla's worries came from, but she acted so rashly. "Apologize to Vicky."
Myla looked at her. "Yeah, I'll have my own talk with her."

(apologies for the short chapter😞😞)
