Victoria stood there, unable to move. She suddenly felt a gentle hand on her shoulder and she whipped around. The old woman flinched but she stood firm. "A fight with your friend is something resolved with communication. I'm sure she can't possibly know the full story, she was fine just a few minutes ago."

Victoria didn't smile. She grit her teeth and narrowed her eyes. "Thanks, ma'am." The woman smiled tenderly, but Victoria only furrowed her brows. The old woman said, "Call me Jazz. Many do." Victoria stared at her, and Jazz felt a shiver run down her spine. "Uhm, what's your name, dear?" "Victoria." She muttered, raising an eyebrow. Jazz blinked profusely, smiling nervously. She hadn't come across such a angry woman before. "It'll be okay, calm down." Jazz tried. It only added fuel to the fire. Victoria stormed out of the shop, stopping in the alleyway.

Myla had said something offensive. If she explained it to Allie, wouldn't all be fine? She could get Myla to apologize. Suddenly, something clicked in Victoria's head.

Unfortunately, Myla just didn't like her. No matter what Victoria would do, or try to do, Myla would always be on top.

Victoria let out a heavy sigh. At that moment, her goal was to get home and recollect. She wasn't going to just storm over to her house.

Victoria banged on Allie's door. She knew they were in there, she saw Allie's car. There was no answer, although she knew they were in there. They just didn't want to talk to her.

Victoria let herself down. She put her trust in another and, once again, it ended in trouble. Victoria made her way home, slumping and tired. No matter what she did, somebody was always going to be on top, even if they were the one to blame. She glanced at her phone and no notifications had appeared.

She slumped onto the couch and stared at the ceiling. She started to close her eyes, and before she knew it, she was asleep.
