Chap 28 : Coward

"So... You went on a blind date?"

"... Yes." JiMin nodded, it was hard.

"I..." TaeHyung wanted to say something but then shook his head. "Forget it." He smiled a little.

"What do you want to say?"

TaeHyung took a deep breath before saying, "I hope you're happy with--" He was cut off when JiMin snapped.

"I can't believe you!" JiMin burst out. "You really just let me go like that!? Is my love for you just in vain?"

"JiMin--" TaeHyung was stunned.

"Coward!" He cried loudly. "I will marry someone I neither love nor know... You really let me!?"

TaeHyung just heard that expression.

"I'm trying to leave him, cancel our marriage just to be with you..." His tears continued to wet his cheeks. "But you just--" JiMin's words were cut off when TaeHyung pulled him tightly into his warm embrace. "Don't act like you care!" JiMin almost whispered, pushing TaeHyung away.

"Shhh." TaeHyung tried to calm JiMin down, pulling him back into his arms. This time, hugging him so tight that JiMin couldn't push him away anymore. After JiMin calmed down a bit, TaeHyung spoke up, "Sorry if I made you think that. But all that is not true. Not at all."

"Huh?" JiMin looked up at TaeHyung.

"You know I love you so much. You are the first person who managed to make me serious in a relationship. I admit I made a lot of mistakes before. But that was before." TaeHyung said sincerely, looking at JiMin lovingly. "Actually, I purposely let you be with him first because I know you love me the way I love you. I believe you with all my heart, you know?"

TaeHyung's reply got JiMin's full attention. JiMin put some distance between them to wipe away his tears before wrapping his arms around TaeHyung's waist, resting his chin on TaeHyung's chest. TaeHyung's arm also wrapped around JiMin's waist again. "What are you trying to do?"

"I'll leave you with him first because JungKook and I know what you and Hyung are planning. We also know you will send Hyung first." TaeHyung told. JiMin hides his face in TaeHyung's chest, embarrassed. TaeHyung just chuckled at the cute behavior.

"So, someone else knows..."

"Why do you think JungKook is so angry with Hyung? You should be able to guess." TaeHyung replied.

"I didn't know he would be so angry..."

"If I were JungKook I would be angry too. Hyung already legally belongs to JungKook. If he goes on a date with a random person and they touch Hyung in an inappropriate way of course it may cause misunderstanding in their relationship. Am I right?"

"Yes, you are right." JiMin nodded before looking up in confusion. "But... I can feel that he likes Hyung."

"You need to tell him that Hyung is married and you are the real Park JiMin as well as your feelings. It's not good if you marry someone else if you love someone else. You both need to apologize to him too--" JiMin cut TaeHyung off, shaking his head.

"Hyung and I have planned to do that. And I meant different when I said he likes Hyung." JiMin told.

"So, what do you mean?" He frowned.

JiMin looked at the closed door of YoonGi and JungKook's room before pulling TaeHyung into the courtyard. It seems that this is so serious that JiMin has to pull him there. They sat on the bench that was there. TaeHyung was just waiting for what JiMin was going to say.

"In fact, when the two of them met, they immediately hugged each other as if they had been separated for a long time. I don't know what they are talking about but they seem comfortable together. And when we were about to go home, I noticed that Hyung's eyes were red as if he had just cried a lot."

"What's his name again?"

"Jung HoSeok."

"Jung..."
