CHAPTER 2

Knock knock. "We're here!" The girls screamed. Ah, I slowly opened my eyes. I must have fallen asleep while watching tv.

"Coming!" I yelled. I paced over to the door and unlocked it. The girls walked in.

"Hiiii." Jaya said. Ellie gave me a hug while Mira and Lila put their bags down.

"Hey. Are you guys hungry? I think we have some cookies left over from all the baking my mom did yesterday." I said.

"We're ok, but I think Jaya wants one. She's been complaining about how hungry she is the whole ride here." Ellie said.

"Yeah, I'll take one if you don't mind." Jaya said.

"Of course." I said. I walked over to the kitchen and got a cookie, along with a bottle of water for myself. "Here you go." I said handing the chocolate chip cookie in Jaya's pale hands.

"Thanks. Now lets make the video!" Jaya replied.

"Already? You don't want to just hang out first?" I asked.

"We can hang out after. Lets take the video now. Come on, Rue." Ellie took my hand and brought me to the small office room. The others followed.

"Ok, Katniss." I said. We called Ellie Katniss because she acts just like the character. They call me Rue because I'm the shortest, and always call me cute. The first thing Ellie said in class when she met me was, "'You remind me of Rue.'" And that was before the movie. We loved The Hunger Games, and always used those names. I set up the camera. The 5 of us stood in a line in front of the teal colored wall.

"Ok, lets just follow each other and say why we should win." I said. I pressed the record button and gave everyone a thumbs up.

"Hi, I'm Alia." I said. The other girls said their names. Jaya then spoke the main part. She was of course the most confident.

"We deserve to win this contest because we know we are your biggest fans. We've been here since the beginning, ever since your X-Factor auditions." Jaya said.

"You guys are our idols, we just love you so much. Our friendship was started by talking about you boys, and if we didn't know about you, we probably never would have been friends, so I want to thank you for that." Ellie said.

"We really want to win. Hope you pick us as the winners!" Lila said. We all waved, and I turned off the camera.

"That was really good guys. We might just win. Their gonna fall in love with us." Mira said.

"Of course they will. We rock." Ellie said. I pulled out the cable cord and connected the camera to the computer. I sent the video to the boys, sighing heavily. Hopefully this wasn't for nothing. It would suck to see someone else living our dream, the dream to meet them.

"It's sent. Come back next Friday so we can see who wins." I said.

"Yay." Mira said. We walked to the living room. The rest of the night was listening to music (mostly Little Mix), and makeovers. But the whole time I just kept imagining what it would be like to actually see them. To see what we have wanted to see for years. But inside, I had to face the truth. Millions of people will send videos. There was no chance of us winning. We're not going to win.
