They should be coming any minute...so we could watch someone else win the contest. I could already imagine it, a beautiful rich girl with blonde hair winning, when she wasn't even a directioner. Just thought they were "hot." I hate people like that. Even if someone like that didn't win, we wouldn't win. I was sure of it. Looking out the window, small sprinkles of rain hit the thick glass. It began to pour as the sky got grey. Perfect weather. Just then I got a text, and the message alert scared the crap out of me. BUZZZZZ! Beep beep beep. Jeez, I need to change that. The message was from Jaya.

I should be excited like the rest of them, I don't know why I'm not. Probably because I know that another fan will get happy and her dream will come true, while I'm still here trying to get noticed. I replied...

I see she switched her text style as always. I always keep mine on the same setting.

Shortly after, the doorbell rung. I ran to the door and opened it.

"Hey babe! Sorry were late." Mira said.

"That's ok, it's gonna start soon come on." I replied.

"Wait a sec. We brought FOOOOD!" Jaya said. Haha, that's why they told me not to make anything. Jaya pulled out a large bag from behind her with "Thank you" written on the front. Then Ellie brought out a small bag with mini sized chocolates inside. They walked to the wooden table and placed the food down. Ellie handed us each 2 of the star-shaped chocolates. Jaya reached into the bag and got out the food.

"It's Chinese. Noooodles! And chicken. Didn't know which one you would want so I got both." Jaya said.

"That's great thanks." I said. We started eating and I noticed I was really hungry so I ate pretty quickly. Mira accidentally dropped some onto Jaya's skirt and Jaya threw some at her.

"Hey! It was an accident!" Mira said. Mira threw some in Jaya's direction but she missed and it hit Ellie straight in the face.

"That's it!" Ellie screamed. Ellie then threw some at Jaya and Mira while Lila and I sat watching.

"Food fight!" Mira screamed. She was the immature one. They all then began throwing noodles everywhere. A lot got into Lila's shirt and everyone started laughing. I reached for my hair where I felt sticky chicken all over. I instantly went to the bathroom to clean up. When I got back they were in the floor picking up the food.

"Enough guys, before we make a mess out of the whole house." I said laughing. I was the mature, quiet one. "The winner is going to be announced soon. We have about 4 minutes." I said turning in the tv. We all got ready with blankets and pillows and sat on the couch. This is it.

"Ok guys! Over the last week, we watched thousands of videos deciding who our winner is! We were so pleased to see all of our fans send in videos. We love all of you. Ok Zayn, why don't you tell them who it is?!" Louis said.

"Are you guys ready?" Zayn asked. We all screamed. Zayn was my favorite. Hey, don't judge me. There's always one that makes you fall in love a bit more. "The winner is...Katie Meyers from New York! Katie, we have sent you a special email with details for the prize. Liam, why don't you tell them what that is?" Yup. Everyone's faces dropped around me. They were so surprised. We didn't win, I was right.

"The prize is a long summer trip. Katie, our lucky winner, gets to spend a summer with me and the boys, food and everything included. Congragulations Katie!" Liam announced. No way. A whole summer with One Direction, this was not happening right now. What could she have possibly said in her video to win?

"Oh my god." I said.

"Oh my gosh we should have won! Guys it's a whole summer!" They all screamed.

"Whooo Katie! Once again, thank you all for your videos. Katie's video will be posted on our website. See you!" The boys finished off the announcement. I shut off the tv. I could not believe this. I never knew the prize would be this big. The girls looked so dissapointed.

"She is the luckiest girl in the universe. Whatever. I really wanted to win. There goes our only chance." Jaya exclaimed. Ellie angrily started picking at the cloth of the aqua colored blanket. Thousands were sent in, I could understand why we didn't win. We all joined for a group hug to say goodbye.

"Bye Alia. Thanks again. Next time it's my house ok?" Lila said.

"Of course. Text me later girls."

"Bye." They all said. They sounded so sad. After they left, I sighed and fell onto the couch. It was crazy for us to think we would actually win. I did at first. I don't know why. We will NEVER ever meet them. Like ever.
