Chapter 12

CHAPTER 12

"Give her mouth to mouth!" Harry shouted. Where am I? I awoke to some loud voices and 9 faces around me with worried expressions. Everything was blurry and I was shocked, but I remember everything.

I remember being so scared as the water surrounded me and I couldn't breathe. I remember how terrified I was when Harry was dragging me deeper in. "Never mind." Harry said.

"Oh my god, Alia. Are you ok?" I heard everyone say that to me at once as they helped me up from the pool chair they laid me on.

"I'm fine. I just swallowed a lot of water. That was truly terrifying. I was pretty sure I was going to die." I said as my voice was messed up a bit from the water still in my throat.

"Thank god you're ok. I knew something was wrong when I saw Harry pulling you away." Zayn said.

"Alia, I'm so sorry. I had no idea you couldn't swim. I feel so bad about it. I mean what if you didn't wake up? I would never be able to forgive myself." Harry said, his eyes starting to get red.

"But I did wake up. It's okay Harry. I'm fine now, and you didn't know. I should have told you all I couldn't swim before we went in." I said.

"I saw you sinking under the water and swam in and got you." Liam said.

"You did? Thanks, Liam. Thanks for saving my life." I said to Liam feeling grateful.

"Anytime." He said smiling. Oh my god...Liam Payne saved me. Is this real?

"Now lets get inside and get you warmed up." Liam said. He grabbed my hand and lead me to the living room with the others following behind us. They wrapped me up in blankets after I changed, and soon we were each drinking tea made by Louis. Never would've guessed his tea is this good.

"Like it?" Louis asked.

"No." I replied.

"What?" Louis said, his face dropping.

"Love it." I said, watching his eyes light up. Zayn and Liam were on both sides of me, and I felt Zayn put his arm around me. Then, Liam did too. It was so hard not to scream right then.

I heard a weird sound like a message alert and realized it was the doorbell. Niall got up to open the door and I heard female voices I immediately recognized.

"Danielle! Eleanor! Perrie!" We ran up to the girls and hugged them while they greeted us and we introduced ourselves. Liam, Louis, and Zayn kissed them on the cheek.

"So nice to meet you girls. What are you up to?" Perrie asked. Oh my gosh. Besides being Zayn's gf, I loved Perrie because I was a huge fan of Little Mix. We all walked into the living room and sat down.

"Alia almost drowned and died." Ellie said.

"Oh god. Are you ok?" Eleanor asked.

"Yes, thanks to Liam." I said.

"Aw Liam! You saved her?" Danielle said smiling as Liam gave her a kiss on the lips. I wish I had a relationship like that.

"And I almost killed her." Harry said, looking sad again.

"Harry. It's ok. Really." I reassured him. He smiled and grabbed Ellie's hand swinging it back and forth.

What a day. I almost died, Liam saved me, and I met One Direction's girlfriends. I couldn't even imagine what else would happen during this summer. But I was ready for it.
