NamJoon and YoonGi were sitting outside the studio on a bench, sides touching, wanting to do more, but nervous to do so in public. They were still a bit sweaty from their performance, even though they had changed back to their street clothes.
"No matter what happens-"
"I know, Joonie."
"Let me finish-"
"That's what you said last night," YoonGi flashed a sly grin, his tongue slipping out at the side of his mouth.
NamJoon punched him playfully in the shoulder. "Yoon, you're ruining my moment."
"Sorry."
"Whatever happens, we will get through this together. If they don't renew our contract for the group, we can still write and produce and sell our songs. We'll get a studio apartment to split. I'll get work washing dishes and you can be a delivery boy. You'd look cute in a delivery boy cap."
"Ya! What happened to being positive? Realism is my thing."
"I can't help but be practical and plan for all the possibilities."
"You'd never make it."
"What?"
"As a busboy," YoonGi grinned. "You'd break all the dishes. You're better off in a bookstore or somewhere you can't break anything."
NamJoon chuckled. "Right, well, my point is, I'll be by your side. For as long as you want me."
YoonGi turned to face NamJoon, fighting the impulse to give him a long, deep kiss right there.
"There you are!" Jimin came running out of the building towards them. "They called. They want to see all of us."
NamJoon and YoonGi looked at each other and jumped to their feet to follow Jimin back inside.
