A hunter falls in love with a vampire.

Amelia , You almost died.

Rubie POV:

I couldn't believe Dean heard me. He heard me say that I was still in love with him. Oh my god! He must of thought it was hilarious , a hunter in love with a vampire. It was like Buffy and Angel all over again.

I was about to come up with an excuse , a lie for Dean when my phone buzzed. It was Andre. I read the words of the text and tear dripped down my face.

"Whats wrong?" Dean asked , running over to me after reading the text on my phone.

"Its Amelia. She's hurt. I need to get to the hospital!" I cried out. I had no idea what had happened. Please tell me she hasn't ignored me and gone out on a

hunt and got killed.

"Your getting better Amelia." Rubie panted as Amelia hit and kicked the training pad that she was holding up.

"Great. Then I can come on your next hunt with you then." Amelia stated instead of asking , knowing if she asked what Rubies' response would be.

"What? No! Amelia your a good fighter and a great mythologist hunter but your not that.." Before Rubie could continue she was interrupted by Amelia.

"Good. I am not that good. Don't worry Rubie I get it." She interrupted before sitting down al morbid and sad.

"Oh come on Amelia. Your amazing but you don't have experience. You have never killed a vampire. When you kill one it starts , it starts and then it will never ends. Vampires will exploit any weakness you have and use it to kill you. Please , just wait till you go on a hunt?"

"Okay Rubie. Ill wait till I am ready!"

When we arrived at the hospital. I told Dean that he didn't have to come and Eliza insisted on coming as well. I guess I knew why Dean insisted to on coming , we needed to talk about what he heard.

When we walked into the hospital room , we saw Amelia lay in the bed. As we walked in Amelia didn't look hurt. She was unconscious but there wasn't a scratch on her body. I saw Andre sat by her bed. As I walked over to him I noticed a bandage around her neck and that's when I realised what happened. I looked at Dean and titled my head as he saw the bandage too.

"She went hunting even though I told her not to didn't she?" I asked Andre. He nodded.

Amelia came woke up as we all took seats around her bed.

"Amelia , what happened? Do you recognise the vampire who did it?" I asked , jumping up to her side before Dean grabbing the middle of my arm and pulling me back slightly.

"I cant remember Rubie. He was strong ,stronger than the others but he looked young. Maybe a little older than you. I don't remember his name but I remember his face!" Amelia became frightened.

"God damn it Amelia. I told you! You weren't ready , why didn't you listen to me"? I began to shout , again being restrained by Dean.

"I can try to get some memories back for her if you want?" Eliza asked. Amelia looked at me weary of the idea but then nodded her head.

"Okay , so I know a spell but it opens her mind. There cant be any distractions. It will allow me to enter her subconscious and salvage the blocked memory but she will need a tether to keep her here.." Eliza began to explain. When Andre interupted.

"Ill do it! She is my sister Ill be the tether."

"Okay then great! Rubie , Dean you two go and stand outside. Don't let anyone in until we're finished." Eliza instructed and me and Dean left the room.

Great now Ill have to talk to him!

We walked out of the room and Dean looked at me , clearly waiting for me to carry the conversation.

"You didn't have to come here you know?" I asked Dean. I knew that he knew but there was nothing else I could think of.

"I know. I just wanted to make sure you where okay. That's all." Dean reassured.

"I am not the one that is on hospital because I didn't listen and got attacked and nearly killed by a vampire!"

"Were not all like this you know Rubie. Were not all bad. I am not bad!" Dean retorted.

"Where are you going with this?" I asked , wondering what his end game was. I love Dean but I couldn't do it. I couldn't get past the fact that he was a vampire.

"You know where I was going to go with it. But that's not it. If Eliza's spell doesn't work then it isn't all bad I can still find out who it was." He reassured me.

"What? How?"

"Well I am guessing your not a mythologist hunter then?" I shook my head in reply to Deans comment. "When a vampire drinks someone blood they can sometimes get some of the memories of that person." He explained.

"You would do that for Amelia , if the spell doesn't work?" I asked in disbelief.

"I would do it for you!" He retorted , flashing me a small grin.

Before I could reply to that Andre opened the door and summoned us back to Eliza.
