24. Wedding and feelings

Rubie POV~:

"Where is Eliza?" I asked Cedrick , Dean and Cassandra were still dancing but I couldn't find Eliza anywhere.

"What are you doing?" Cedrick questioned. I looked at him with furrowed eyebrows. "You are at a wedding , right now you are ahead of them two in the game." He said , stepping closer to me and nodding his head over to Dean and Cassandra. "Your winning but if you carry on like this then you will soon be losing. You need to act normal!" Cedrick warned.

"Cedrick I am a 17 year old vampire , I don't know the meaning of normal." I sighed.

"No , but we are pretty good at pretending. So why don't I , your pretend boyfriend pretend to have fun with you!" He laughed as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

Even though it was hard to admit but Cedrick sent chills down my spine as he wrapped his arms around , holding my body close to his.

Dean POV:

What the hell was going on? I know I hurt Rubie but I don't deserve this , I don't deserve to watch her with Cedrick! He doesn't deserve her! 

"You can stop staring you know , it wont change anything." Cassandra pulled me away from staring a Cedrick and Rubie.

"What do you mean staring?" I asked , as if I hadn't done anything.

"You know what I mean. You are here with me but you wont stop looking at her!" She argued.

I didn't know what to do. "Cassandra , what do you want me to do? I didn't know you were alive. I fell in love with her! I risked my life for her!" I admitted to her.

"So why aren't you with her? You obviously loved her ,  I am starting to think you still are!" Cassandra shouted as she went to walk away from me , I grabbed her arm stopping her!

"Wait!  I left her for you! The moment I found out you where alive I knew it was you I wanted to be with , I loved Rubie but I love you!" I confessed.

Cassandra sighed. "Yeah well don't let Rubie know that , we need her if we are going to be able to kill Lorena. We need both of them."

Rubie POV~

The music stopped while the family of the bride and groom commenced their speeches.

Me and Cedrick were on our way to a table when I finally spotted her , it was Eliza!

"Cedrick , come over here!" I said , pulling him over to the table with me.

Me and Cedrick sat on the table that Eliza was on.

"Hey Eliza , have you seen Cassey?" I asked , I did want to make it up to her but didn't know how too.

"No sorry." Eliza replied coldy , what was her problem?

"Oh." I replied blankly , not sure what I had done wrong.

"Are you okay?" Cedrick asked her , looking at her weirdly. I looked at him with a knowing look , he has noticed that Eliza was being cold with me.

Eliza glanced suspiciously at the two of us and then took a second before answering. "Apparently not as good as you." She spat , you could hear the disgust in her voice. I hadn't done anything. What was this about?

"I cant do this!"  I snarled at her. "You know what Eliza I don't know what the hell is going on with you! But right now isn't the time to be starting with me! I have my ex boyfriend over there dancing with his new girlfriend who he pretended to be dead so  that he could be with!" I stood up and began to shout slightly. "But hey Eliza by all means make it about you!"

Cedrick stayed quiet while Eliza looked at me. She didn't answer , she just stood there , staring , no emotion on her face so I began to turn around and walk away.

"About me? Rubie it has always been about you." Eliza began , she was speaking quietly , causing me  to turn around. "You are on of my best friends and I love you but my life was and still probably is in danger because of you! I get being a hunter is who you are , or now what you were but I didn't have to get involved I did it for you! You left here , you escaped the drama I didn't. I only  had Cedrick , but he loves you!" Eliza revealed and then everything had clicked into place.

Eliza liked Cedrick , Cedrick loved me.

I never thought Cedrick would or could love me , he was Mikado , powerful everything I wasn't he went from wanting to kill me , ruining my life and now he loved me? What the hell had my life become?
