13. School sucks

Rubie POV:

I had spent the weekend at Andre and Amelia's house. They spent most of their time looking through books trying to find out how we could stop Cedrick while I spent my time playing with their younger siblings.

"Anything?" Eliza asked me as I met her at her locker.

"No. They say he is practically indestructible." I sighed.

"What about me? Could I do anything?" Eliza asked. "You know , my magic?" She clarified.

"I don't know. I never thought. Plus are you sure it is a good idea? I mean he is really strong and he has already shown an interest in you. I am not sure I could protect you even with Dean." I looked at her serious look on my face. I wanted Eliza to stay out of this , the other night opened my eyes and I don't want to lose anyone because of this.

"Yes. I am sure. If you can find a way Ill figure it out!" She reassured.

"Hey!" Cassey greeted as she made it over.

"Thanks." I said as I hugged Eliza. "I am going to call Andre and Amelia , see if they can find anything. See you later?" I asked Eliza , she nodded. "See ya Cas!" I smiled as I rubbed her arm before leaving. Dialling Andre and Amelia on the phone.

"What's with her?" Cassey questioned as she watched Rubie take off down the hall dialling Andre and Amelia. Cassey didn't know about any of this and it was really hard for her because she didn't understand why she was being kept out of the loop.

"Oh , I don't know. Its Rubie she is just being Rubie." I replied. Not knowing what to say to her.

"Hey so I hear her and Dean are back together! Why did they brake up in the first place? Like have you seen them they are perfect together!"

I looked at her and laughed, she had no idea how far off she was. Especially with her being a hunter and him being the hunted.

But it was clear. I was going to have to get Rubie to tell her sooner or later.

I got off the phone with Andre and Amelia when Dean appeared.

"Hey. What are you doing?" He asked as he wrapped his arms around me from behind.

I turned around to face him. Wrapping my arms around the back of his neck. "Updating Andre and Amelia. Eliza said if there a chance her power will help then she will use it!" I informed him.

Dean took a deep breathe considering Andre and Amelia aren't a big fan of his.

"Well I have to go to class but Ill see you later?" I asked him as the bell rung.

"Yeah. Love you."

"I love you too." I smiled before kissing him again and taking off to class.

I arrived in class to be greeted by one of my friends , Lucy.

"Hey." She smiled as I took my seat next to her.

"Hey." I returned. This class was held in one of the drama rooms so even though it wasn't drama it was a pretty wide spaced class room.

The class had began and me and Lucy were quietly talking while doing our work , like normal when suddenly the door came flying off its hinges. Breaking a window in the process. Everyone screamed and dropped to the floor. Including me and Lucy.

About 5 men walked through the door , I could tell right away that they were vampires but I kept up my act. Mr Riverside , our teacher began to calmly walk over when one of them grabbed him by the throat and throwing him forward , causing him to go straight through the previously broken window.
