26. Saving

Rubie POV:

"Eliza , here take my blood it will heal you!" I said to her as I bit my wrist , ignoring the pain that I was in because of it and giving her some of my blood.

"Rubie , come on , we have to go if Lorena is here then we are in big trouble. We have to go to now!" Cedrick warned as he tried to pull me away from Eliza.

"I'm not leaving her!" I protested.

"We have to , your going to get killed. She will kill you!" Cedrick carried on , pulling me away.

" I don't care , my friends are here and I am not leaving them to get killed because of me!" I carried on arguing.

I seen two vampire speeding blurs come over to me , it was Dean and Cassandra. "Cedrick is right , Lorena will get you first!" Dean warned.

"How could you possibly think that? I have never even met her!" I protested , again.

"Because even though I hate to admit it because I love Dean but at one point they have both loved you , Lorena turned them because she loves them , she loves the attention. She sees you taking their attention away. Lorena turned me into a vampire because of my loving of Dean. Your already a vampire Rubie , think of what she has planned for you , she wont come for Eliza." Cassandra entered the conversation.

"How do you know she wont come for Eliza? I am already a vampire. What other way is there to hurt me?"

"Look around! You think this was done by a vampire?" Cassandra motioned to the wreckage around her. "Lorena has witches , valuable and powerful witches. If she kills Eliza her witches will turn on her and she loses power."

"Rubie , please come with us!" Dean pleaded.

"Ill look after your friends , she wont do anything to me." Cassandra offered.

"Okay." I answered but before I went with Cedrick and Dean who both looked alert and ready for any move she was about to make. I went down to Eliza who was still lying in shock on the floor. "Are you okay?" I asked her , as I helped her sit up.

"I- I think so.." She stuttered through her shock.

"Listen , I have to go with them , you will be safe. Lorena cant touch a witch without losing hers and I don't think even her can fight off 4 vampires at once." I reassured her.

"Go!" She cut me off. I looked at her with furrowed eyebrows , I was unsure if she would be okay emotionally , it is a lot to deal with for someone who is still clearly in shock! "Go Rubie , this Lorena threat isn't something to be taken lightly! Plus I have Cassandra here to help me! Please Rubie , GO! Why you still have the chance."

I looked at Eliza gratefully , she was my rock. I don't know what I would do without her.

Me , Dean and Cedrick used our speed to get to the back of the marquee , knowing Lorena was coming in through the front. We were about to leave the marquee when suddenly a very angry bride appeared in front of us.

"You!" She pointed her finger at me , her dress ruined by the wreckage. "You lot!" She corrected herself now circling her finger around us three. "What are you?"

"Mrs Kane." I stuttered , confused to what to say to her.

"Your fast , you have all healed from your wounds and I am pretty sure you helped Eliza Morse heal from hers by giving her your blood." You could hear the confusion and fright in her voice even though she put on a brave face.

"Rubie , she is close , we have to go NOW!" Dean warned. You could see the shadows of the witches that were entering through the front.

"Mrs Kane I promise I will explain but right now we need to go!" I said , taking on Deans warning and trying to walk past her.

"No! No one is going anywhere!" She said standing in front of me , her finger pointed again.

"Mrs Kan-" I attempted to calm her down again.

"Rubie!" Cedrick interrupted me.

"MRS KANE!" I shouted , stopping her rant. She looked at me , I took this chance and collided my elbow with her face. Causing her to lose consciousness and fall to the ground. "Shut up!" I finished as I watched her fall.

Me , Cedrick and Dean then quick to leave. Hearing a female voice enter the marquee soon after our vampire speed departure.
