Author's pov
Little Elena knocks at the door. Kevin clenches his jaw, his face red due to anger. He storms towards the door, ready to yell at whoever it was but stops when he sees a little figure standing there with a milkshake in her hands.
He looks at her but doesn't say anything. Elena looks at his brother and pouts, showing her puppy eyes.
Kevin smiles a little, amazed by the cute reaction his sister was giving him.
"I love milkshakes. It's so yummy, especially the chocolate one...um I bought it for you but since you are angry...I'll drink it." Elena says. Kevin chuckles, aware of the evil plan the girl was planning. She was playing with him.
"Hmm...okay. You can drink it." He says. Elena's eyes widen, shocked at his reaction. This is not how it should go...she thought. The milkshake she was holding was a banana milkshake which Elena hates but Kevin loves it. She thought she could fool him but clearly, he was clever.
"Okay" The girl shrugs and acts as if she was about to take a sip. She brings the cup to her mouth in slow motion, hoping to get a reaction.
"Wait!" Kevin says and Elena grins, happy that her plan has worked.
"You forgot this" Kevin opens the lid of the glass. Elena frowns and huffs.
Kevin laughs and takes the cup from her hands, "Come in now" He says with a smile which she returns.
It was the first time Elena was seeing his room. She was awestruck at the interior. The room was dark blue in color with the ceiling painted of a galaxy. The lights were dim and the double bed's sheet was dark blue.
A study table and bookshelf on one side and two-door on the other, leading to the closet and bathroom.
"It's nice, isn't it?" Kevin whispers in her ears from behind. Elena nods.
"Movie?" Kevin asks and the girl nods excitedly.
"What do you mean movie?!?! We have to go, remember?" Mark shouts from the door, making Elena jump in surprise.
"Don't scare her you moth-" Kevin was cut off by his father.
"Don't you dare swear, boy" Hunter says with a warning tone. Kevin nods.
"And it's full moon today so be careful" Hunter reminds his sons who nod in return.
Elena frowns, not getting what they were talking about. Hunter leaves the room, mark following him.
"First movie and then everything. Okay?" Kevin says and Elena grins, "Yups"
