Author's Pov
Elizabeth stares at Elena as both of the girls look at each other but the look in their eyes is different. Elizabeth was staring at Elena with anger, disgust, and Jealousy whereas Elena was staring at her sister with shock.
She couldn't believe her eyes, is she the one who created this chaos? She questioned herself but quickly shook her head in denial. That can be true, she is just standing away because she is scared. Elena thinks but a voice deep inside her screams that she is wrong, that her sister is the one behind it.
"Elena" Anne quickly rushed towards her sister and engulfed her in a hug. Elena hugs Anne back but her eyes do not leave Elizabeth's even once.
"Can you smell Eliza?" Elena questions Anne who frowns and scans her sister's face for any injuries. She then shook her head.
"No. We are not even able to make contact through the mind link. I am worried about her...I hope she is alright but...why did you ask?" Anne questions back. Elena pointed her finger towards Elizabeth who was still as stone, not moving from her place.
Anne turned her head to look at what Elena pointed out and frowned at what she saw; an empty space.
"What is it, Elena?" Anne questions Elena who frowns and whispers a small 'look'
Anne once again looks at the empty space, "There's nothing there, baby"
"But...she is standing right there!" Elena exclaims a little louder and Anne shakes her head.
"No no, you must be tired. Come" Both the girls move toward the other end of the hallway. Elena looks back again and sees no one. She then peeks down to see dead bodies. Her break hitched in her throat at the bloody sight. All the attackers were dead, including some members who attended the party. The hallway was silent and deadly.
"Where are we going, sis?" Elena questions and her voice weaves. Anne looks at her to see tears in her eyes. She hugs Elena.
"Don't look down there, everything is alright." She coos at her baby sister.
"What about mom and dad? And St-" Anne cuts her off.
"Everyone is alright, Elena. We're alive, just injured okay? And you know it, we will heal quickly" She assures Elena who bites her lips and nods.
