"First, we need to find information regarding that pack," Hunter says in an authoritarian voice and everyone nods.
Stefan steps forward and clears his throat, "Alpha, I have already done the research. It's a small pack with almost no risk of us losing to them. The Alpha of the pack is going through a crisis and the pack is weakening due to that. Someone attacked them a few days ago, before the news of Elizabeth..." He trails, trying not to get his emotions out.
Hunter nods, "Alright. We can't underestimate the enemy so it doesn't matter. Now, share everything you know about us, and let's get back to planning" He says and Stefan nods.
For the next few hours, after a long discussion and planning, Hunter dismisses the pack. The room once again becomes silent. Hunter sighs loudly and leans back in his chair, covering his face with his arm.
Stefan remains quiet, letting his father have some space. The door opens and Anne enters the room, with a look of determination in her eyes.
"Alpha, what kind of plan is this?" She says with disbelief lacing her eyes.
Hunter opens his eyes and leans forward. "What are you talking about?" He asks.
Anne shakes her head and sighs. She grabs the nearby chair and sits, with her legs crossed and her eyes shining with determination.
"Dad! You can't just attack the whole damn pack for an act of revenge!" She says, her voice rising.
"So you expect me to just sit my ass down here and do nothing about the fucker who killed my daughter?" Hunter says in a hard tone. Anne remains still, maintaining eye contact.
"Dad! He killed Elizabeth, he should be punished but that doesn't mean that we kill innocent people. Think about it! We have got a reputation to maintain, you can't possibly ruin it all at once!" She shouts with a frown on her face. It was hard to believe that her father, The Alpha with such a reputation would take irrational decisions like this just for the sake of revenge.
"I am in no mood to talk right now. The plan has been made and will be executed soon. You're dismissed." Hunter says urging her to leave the room.
Anne's words affected him and he didn't want to think about it right now, he didn't want to back down now.
Anne immediately senses her father's emotions and her eyes soften.
"Dad...please think about it, okay? For once, yeah?" She says and stands up, leaving the room.
