Author's Pov
Little Elena and her family get out of their cars. Elena grins when she looks up to see the mall. It was decorated with lights and different advertisements.
"Why are we here again?" Mark questions in a tired tone. It was clear that he didn't want to be a part of this outing but Elena wanted everyone to come and of course, being the favorite of the man of the house has its own perks.
Hunter rolls his eyes at his son and pats him, hard. A signal to not say further. Elena looks at her sister, Anne, and holds her hand. Anne grins at her little sister. Elena pulls her hand towards the entrance which was cleared only for them. The guards on both sides bow when the family goes inside.
The mall was almost empty. Only a couple of families were there all were staring at the family that entered the mall. Hunter was well known around the area, many of them were wolves who nods at their Alpha and Luna in respect. Hunter and Amora nod at them.
Elena squeals in excitement when a toy shop catches her attention. The huge teddies and soft toys that were there on the display were so cute that Elena could not control herself. Anne looks in the direction her sister was looking and grins.
Stefan groans at her sisters. He knows how affectionate his sister, Anne is when it comes to collecting soft toys. But before he could warn them both, the two were off running towards the shop.
Amora shakes her head, a smile on her face while Hunter laughs at the girls. The twins look around and smirk when their favorite shop caught their attention. Sports shop. Various sports equipment was decorated in front of the shop which was too tempting for them.
The mind links with everyone and informs them that they are going there and then dash off to the store. While everyone else follows the two girls.
"I hate coming here already," Elizabeth says with a scoff but nonetheless follows everyone. She looks around the shop and the car sections caught her attention. She smirks and goes towards the section.
Amora smiles at her daughter but says nothing. Since the start, Eliza has been interested in boyish stuff. Amora knows that she is a tomboy and has a crush on a girl but she didn't talk about it to Eliza. She wants her daughter to come and tell her when she is ready.
Amora goes to Eliza who was looking at the different cars, "I think, this yellow one will look cute. Your room's color will go with it perfectly" She says.
Elizabeth looks at her mother in surprise but says nothing. After a minute, she sighs, "Red one will go more and I like this color" She says to her mother who shrugs.
"I guess, you have a good eye dear" Her mother says and Eliza smiles a little. She was feeling nice that after so long she and her mother were having time together, alone.
"Mum! Look!" Elena shouts and Amora looks behind to see her daughter jumping in excitement. Amora pats Elizabeth's back and goes to Elena.
Elizabeth clenches her jaw in anger but says nothing. Everyone is giving attention to her and I hate it. She thought and then continues looking at the cars.
Elena grins at her mother and then points at a big red teddy with a black hat, "Look at this teddy! So cute!" She exclaims. Amora smiles at her daughter.
"Do you want it?" She questions. Elena nods hesitantly, old memories of her foster parents come to her mind.
Flashback
Little Elena looks at the cute little teddies that were hanging on the vending machine. She looks at her 'sir' who was talking on the phone while holding her hand tightly. She waited silently for him to cut the call and then questioned, "Can you buy one teddy for me, please?" Her big eyes look at him.
He glares at the girl and pulls her in the opposite direction harshly. She almost tripped but thankfully, she didn't fall.
"A girl like you doesn't deserve anything," He says.
Flashback over
Elena's eyes water at the memory. Amora frowns at her teary eyes, "What's wrong, love" She questions.
Author's Pov
This was a long chapter so I hope that you guys are happy. Also, exams are coming so I may not be able to update. I will try to update but my parents will take my laptop and tab away so I am not sure. So! The update will be slow or not at all. Exams from 27 Feb- 21 March, so I would suggest you guys read my other book, "Innocente" which is similar to this one.I hope you guys support me and don't message me saying, "Update author" and all because I have to focus on other things.
