Elizabeth's Pov
I run, as fast as my feet could take me. I run into the dark forest and let my wolf, Daisy take over. Millions of thoughts were running through my hand. I can't believe I finally did it! Finally told my parents about my...I sigh when I reach the riverside. I slowly sit down in my wolf form.
Sighing, I look over the moon as it shines brightly in the sky. I don't feel any emotion, I feel...numb. It's sad how my life changed. How I used to be a little princess of my parents and now...I never thoughts I will face something like this someday but oh well, it's life.
My nose twitch and my ears perk up as I smell a scent. I could hear someone running, coming towards me. I stand up instantly, the mint and woody smell instantly hitting my nose. I step forward, towards the bushes. The smell was getting stronger and stronger.
Suddenly, a grey wolf jumps from the bushed. I yelp in shock, backing away. My eyes meet the brown ones and I gasp.
Mate...Mate
The wolf howls And jumps toward me, we fall down. I groan when my back hits the ground. The wolf growls and I look into those brown eyes, staring at me with so much adoration. They were looking right through me, making me forget about everything. My wolf, Daisy squeals in excitement.
After what seems like hours, I break our staring contest to look at my surrounding. I growl when I see a bunch of other wolves there. Though they were not staring at me, I know they were attentive and knew that I was looking at them.
My mate makes a sound and I turn my attention back to him. He slowly gets off me and I too, stand up from the ground. My heart thumps in my chest as he slowly comes closer and sniffs me. I take a deep breath, trying not to make any sound. I don't know why but I feel super nervous.
I hear someone coming from behind. I look to see a little girl coming towards me with some clothes. She slowly comes near me and then keeps the clothes down, running back to hide behind another wolf.
I mentally smile at her action. I take the clothes with my mouth and go back behind a tree, shifting into my human form, I dress up. Surprisingly, the clothes were almost my size, though they were a little big that doesn't matter.
After all, I like wearing baggy clothes.
I slowly come from behind and look around only to see that the other wolves are gone. I frown and when I look up, I stop breathing. There he was...my mate. His back to me. He was looking up, towards the moon.
As if he knew I was looking, he turns around, and oh my god!
"Moon Goddess" I breathe in slowly, admiring his beauty. I might faint any moment now.
