As you come up for air from beneath the surface of the lagoon, you wipe your eyes dry before squeezing the water out of your hair. As your bikini squeezes tighter against your body, you observe your surroundings. When you see Aang and Katara practicing a new move, you swim closer towards them before pushing your head beneath the water, only your eyes visible.
"Your arms are too far apart. If you move them together, you'll protect your center. Got it?"
"Got it..."
As Aang blushes before nodding towards Katara, you chuckle to yourself. "He's so falling for her."
"Okay. Let's see what you got."
As Aang and Katara get into position, you feel the currents beneath you moving. Quickly taking in a deep breath, you allow the currents to pull your with them. As Aang bends to defend himself from Katara's ice shards, you float in one of the tentacles.
As another one pushes forwards and snatches Katara by the ankle, you smile before forming an air bubble around your hands and clapping. "You're improving very much, Aang."
"Huh?" As Aang hears you clapping, he bends one of the tentacles in front of him. When he sees your smiling face in front of his, his own face turns a soft shade of red before he drops his hands, releasing you from the tentacle's grasps.
"Thank you, (Y/n)..." You rise from the water before holding up a thumb. "No problem, Aang."
As you and the others continue to talk amongst yourselves, you happen to hear music in the distance. Standing from the lagoon and looking farther out, you manage to see a group of three hippies playing music. As they walk towards you all and finish their song, you smile before cheering for them.
"Bravo! Bravo! I love that song!" The group bows before the man in the middle looks up towards you, a smile on his face. "Thank you so much, river people."
Katara stands beside you, arms crossed. "We're not river people..."
"You're not? Then, what type of people are you?"
You give the man in the front a teasing smile. "A group of escaped bandits who just want nothing but freedom..." Banjo guy grins.
"Aren't we all, sister!"
As you laugh at the male's weird sense of humor, this doesn't go unnoticed by Sokka. As Sokka stands and runs over, half naked, he suspiciously looks at the group of travelers before pointing a finger in their faces.
"Who are you?" The ring leader speaks up. "I'm Chong and this is my wife, Lily." He says, referring to the woman beside him. "We're nomads. Happy to go wherever the wind takes us."
Aang instantly perks up as they say this. "You guys are nomads? I'm a nomad too!"
"Hey! So are we!" Aang looks at the people in front of him, confused. "I know. You just said that..."
"Oh...nice...And, who are you?" You smile before pointing everyone out. "That's Aang, Sokka, and Katara." Everyone else waves except Sokka. "And, I'm (Y/n). Nice to meet you all."
Chong smiles. "Nice to meet you too, (Y/n)." You bow towards the nomads before looking towards Appa. "If I may, Appa usually eats during this time of the day and I haven't feed him so..."
They nod. "Go do you, river lady." You chuckle before walking off towards the bison. As you make your way over towards Appa, he opens his mouth wide.
Bending a bubble of water, you catch 6 large fish before feeding them to him. As Appa happily eats the fish, you pat his head before walking back towards the others. When you walk back, however, you notice the nomads in the middle of a song so, sitting back against a tree, you listen to them sing.
