As you jump from tree to tree, you notice the others gaining on you. Running faster, you jump from one branch to another before tightly gripping onto it and swinging. As you turn yourself around, you throw your hands in the air.
When multiple vines shoot out and trap Katara, Sokka, and Aang in cocoon like structures, you notice everyone having troubles getting out. Sighing, you let everyone go.
As they all fall to the ground of the forest, you jump from the tree before landing on your feet. As everyone groans and rubs their heads, you frown before crossing your arms over your chest.
"Third time we did this and you guys still weren't out in time. What do you have to say for yourselves?"
"Well, (Y/n), some of us are not as strong as the others."
"Yea." Sokka agrees with Aang before standing up and dusting himself off. "Every time we removed a layer of vines, a new layer would just grow. How'd you expect us to get rid of it?"
You shrug. "Maybe, cut them all off in one clean chop? You guys have to understand that Earth is an element of strength, endurance, and persistence. You have to keep going. No matter what. Now..."
You turn your back towards everyone before readying yourself up. "Let's try that agai-"
"Actually..."
You turn around just in time to see Aang walking straight past you. "I think not. We've been at this for hours and I'm really tired..."
Sokka follows Aang's lead. "And, speaking of tired, I could really go for a bite to eat." The man pats his stomach before walking past you as well.
"Katara? You coming?" As Katara looks between you and both the men, she shakes her head from side to side before tightly wrapping an arm around you.
"Thanks but, I'll stay here to practice with (Y/n). I've been really looking to improve my bending skills and since she's the master, I want to learn from her."
Aang and Sokka shrug before heading back inside the tents you all set up. "Suit yourself." As the two crawl into the tents, you look towards Katara, surprised.
"Oh wow. I didn't expect you to side with me." The woman bashfully rubs her neck as she looks down towards the ground. "What can I say? Guess I just really like your presence. Now..."
Katara puts some distance between you two before standing up straight, a grin on her face. "You ready to fight?"
You laugh before standing in a stance of your own, a smirk on your face. "Oh. You are going down."
As you and Katara crawl inside the tents, sweat dripping from you both, Aang and Sokka make some room for you before handing you both some water. As you drink the water in one go, the two men look at you, shocked.
"Wow. What were you two doing for the last four hours?" Katara grins before finishing off her water as well. "Isn't it obvious? Practicing our bending." The woman then proceeds to turn towards you.
"And, might I say, (Y/n). When you bend water, it's honestly one of the most enchanting sights I've ever seen."
You smile as Katara says this. "Why, thank you. Your bending is beautiful as well, Katara."
"Yes but, nowhere near as beautiful as yours." You raise an eyebrow as the woman continues on. "It's like a swan dancing in the water or, a siren, calling out to the sea. How are you so controlled with your movements?"
You pass your cup to Aang before turning to face Katara, looking up for a minute. "Although, I wouldn't go that far, I would say that when I bend, I think of it more as a dance. With nature itself."
