Authors note: Hi everyone! Thank you so much for reading this story! This is my very first fanfic so I wasn't sure how it would be received. I really love Kimiko, so I hope that I can write about her well and showcase her personality. Obviously Kimiko's story is dark and her quirk is pretty brutal. Given that, I have this story a T rating, please let me know if there are any questions or concerns! Thank you and enjoy!
The white walls of the hospital were driving Kimiko mad. She had been discharged pretty quickly after the USJ incident, Recovery Girl scolded her for pushing herself too far healing Aizawa.
'I shouldn't have fought that Shigaraki guy' she thought to herself, 'Then I would have had more energy to heal him' she rested her forehead on the side of his hospital bed.
Her hands tightly gripping his right hand while he slept, she hadn't left the hospital even after being discharged.
Kirishima and Uraraka had stopped by to try and get her to at least take a walk outside, but she wouldn't budge.
"I heard you went on a rampage, that was stupid of you," the sound of Aizawa's voice caused her to jump, eyes widening she looked at his bandaged face. "I've heard the speech already..." she said.
Eyebrows creasing in worry, she continued, "what I don't understand is how that villain knew Jashin... how he knew me"
Aizawa's frown deepened, squeezing her hand, he tried to think of something to say. 'What is the League of Villains planning?' he thought.
The nurse arrived, startling them both. "Sawamura-chan, please let Aizawa-san rest. I spoke with your principal and classes start again tomorrow," she said, giving Kimiko a stern look, she added "you should be in attendance."
Kimiko and Aizawa exchanged a look, his face telling that she should leave, "I'll see you in class tomorrow." he said, eyes closing to rest.
She lifted a brow in question but didn't push any farther. Pushing herself up from her seat beside his bed, she gave his hand a quick squeeze before walking out.
The next day at class, Kimiko stood outside the door, playing with a ring on her finger nervously. 'This is so stupid, just go inside,' she took a deep breath, about to pull open the door when a hand roughly pushed her shoulder, causing her to stumble off balance.
"Oi, you're blocking the door dumbass," turning her head, she was met with the scowling face of Bakugou. Deadpanning she turned to face him, a hand resting lazily on her hip.
"Look, I'm not in the mood to deal with your piss poor attitude," a smirk grew on her face as she added, "Kacchan."
Before he could explode, the door behind them opened revealing a very stern looking Iida. "Quickly you two, get to your seats before homeroom begins!"
Giving Bakugou a smile, the girl turned on her heel, hair swaying from the movement, revealing the branded 97.
Bakugou's anger melted seeing the mark, remembering what that stupid villain had called her. 'Lab rat... that must have something to do with her quirk.'
He quickly shook his head, he didn't care where she came from, why would he? Moving to his seat he sent one last glare at the girl, letting her know her little 'kacchan' comment was not forgotten.
Making a mental note to avoid him for the rest of the day, Kimiko just grinned back at him. She could hear Ashido talking to a group next to her and moved to join the conversation. A little normalcy would be nice.
"Who do you think will teach today?" Ashido asked, as everyone threw different names out. "Aizawa-sensei said he would teach today when I left the hospital yesterday."
