Kimiko decided to hang out in the infirmary for a little while after she was healed by Recovery Girl. She had a feeling Uraraka may get hurt by Bakugou, not that she didn't think the girl was capable of fighting well.

It's just that Bakugou is frankly scary, and wickedly strong. As she suspected, her friend was brought in on a stretcher, knocked unconscious, and Kimiko quickly approached her.

Grabbing her hand tightly, she began using her healing abilities as best she could without tiring herself out too much. She saw with relief the pain fade on Uraraka's face as she absorbed it all.

Eventually Recovery Girl kicked her out and scolded her for using her quirk before her own fight. The blonde girl only shrugged, 'I hated seeing Uraraka in pain.'

Walking down the tunnel towards the cafeteria, she saw Bakugou leaning against the wall, eyes downcast 'that's curious' she thought.

She was about to walk past him and round the corner when his hand shot out, cupping over her mouth while the other grabbed her waist pulling her back into his chest.

Her eyes were wide as she was about to thrash out of his grip when she heard Todoroki's voice "Are you... All Might's secret child?"

Kimiko sucked in a breath, 'who is Todoroki talking to?!' she thought, trying to peek around the corner. Realizing Bakugou still had his hand over her mouth, she gave him a harsh look over her shoulder.

Rolling his eyes, he released his hand, the one on her waist remained as she moved next to him on the wall. She could hear Midoriya panicking out an answer, "no of course not, that's not it at all... But I guess I would say I wasn't even if I was so you probably won't believe me."

'MIDORIYA?' Kimiko's mouth dropped open as she glanced at Bakugou in surprise. His face was deadly serious, brows furrowed in deep thought.

"Your wording suggests that there is something between you two that you're not supposed to talk about," she heard the dual quirked boy respond, his tone cold.

Midoriya stuttered for a response before Todoroki continued, "My father is the hero Endeavor. The number 2 hero... that would mean that if you are connected to All Might, the number 1 hero"

His tone getting even colder, Kimiko wasn't sure she liked this side of Todoroki. "I have even more reason to beat you." There was an underlying anger in his tone that made her wonder if there was more to this than a one sided rivalry.

"My father is ambitious, he used his power to make a name for himself as a hero. All Might being the number 1 hero is a sign of his failure to reach the top spot," Todoroki said, voice laced with venom.

Midoriya shuffled awkwardly, "why are you telling me this Todoroki?" he asked. The two toned boy sighed before replying, "have you heard of quirk marriages?"

Bakugou's eyes shot to Kimiko's as they stared at each other in surprise. 'Aizawa told me those are really dangerous marriages, most end badly,' she thought.

"They became a problem with the first few generations after quirks became widespread. It isn't illegal, but it is frowned upon for being unethical."

"My father has plenty of money to throw around... he bought my mothers family's permission just for her quirk. And now he's raised me solely to defeat All Might and take the number 1 hero position," Todoroki gritted his teeth.

Midoriya gasped at the information he was being given, eyes wide. Todoroki was looking down at his hands when he spoke again, "I refuse to be a tool to that scumbag. In every memory of my mother I see her crying."
