Resting her head on the cool granite of the table, Kimiko let out a sigh. The cavalry battle had taken it out of her and she didn't even win.
She still hadn't come up with a way to use her quirk yet, 'maybe I should ask Midoriya to punch me in my nose?' she thought, 'at least then it would bleed'
Hearing her name being called, she looked up and saw Tsu waving to her to join the rest of the girls out in the hall. Curious, she quickly made her way over to her friends.
"Yaoyorozu... are you certain Aizawa said we had to do this?" Kimiko asked as she held onto the orange fabric. She looked at the taller girl suspiciously, "It just seems weird he didn't mention anything to me."
"I do understand your doubts, but I wouldn't put it past UA to have this kind of competition," Yaoyorozu responded, her brows furrowed in a serious expression.
Pursing her lips, Kimiko shrugged, she said she wanted to be a normal teenage girl, and dressing as a cheerleader was pretty normal - aside from the fact that it was during a hero sports festival.
Dressing in the skirt and crop top, Kimiko glanced in the mirror, twirling a little as the skirt flared out. "Wow Yaoyorozu! This is so well made!" The blonde girl called out in surprise.
As the girls entered the arena again, Kimiko's shoulders slumped upon realizing that no one else was dressed as cheerleaders. 'I knew this didn't make sense!' she thought, raising her palm to her face.
"Wow! Class 1-A is going full-on fanservice everyone!" yelled out Present Mic, as Kimiko groaned, 'Aizawa is gonna murder me for being stupid.'
Jiro was practically in tears from embarrassment as Kimiko rubbed her back in comforting circles. The blonde girl wasn't embarrassed, instead, she was furious at whoever tricked her friends.
Laughter drew her attention as she saw Mineta and Kaminari with smug faces drooling over the girls. Yaoyorozu yelled at them for tricking her as she threw her pom poms down in despair.
Walking towards the culprits, Kimiko gave the two boys a hard look, "you think it's funny to make us dress up to fulfill some gross fantasy you have?" she asked, a menacing smile on her face.
"Do something like this again and I'll let Aizawa deal with you." Placing a hand on her hip, she did her best doe-eyed look, "what do you think he'll do to you when I tell him you two forced his adopted daughter to dress up for your pleasure?"
Kaminari froze, the color draining from his face as Mineta screamed and hugged him. They both began apologizing as the girl scoffed, rolling her eyes she turned on her heel.
Catching Bakugou staring at her, she raised a brow at him. His eyes widened as he turned his head away quickly, causing the girl to frown. 'And here I thought I looked good,' she pouted.
As Midnight called for everyone to gather around, she announced the final trial.
A battle tournament, one on one brawls using quirks and whatever means necessary to advance in the bracket.
Kimiko's excitement at the chance to brawl died when Ojiro raised his head, announcing that he wishes to withdraw.
She furrowed her brows, it didn't make sense to drop simply because someone used their quirk on you.
'Just because he didn't remember the Cavalry battle doesn't mean he didn't earn his spot.'
"It's a matter of my pride as a man and a future hero." He said as Kirishima began crying over how manly he sounded.
As Ojiro finished speaking, he looked around, startled "why are the girls dressed as cheerleaders??" He said, causing Kimiko to face palm.
"That's really not important right now," Kimiko said, her cheeks dusting a rosy pink as she stared at the floor.
