Chiwa's POV
I eye Kitsune and plead to talk in private, pointing to the direction of either of our bedrooms with my eyes. She catches on to the signal and nods her head. "We'll be right back." I tell Lea. "You boys stay right here." Kitsune tells them before getting up to follow me in my room. I walk in and sit on my bed. Kitsune follows, closing the door behind her. "Soooo..?" she asks. Do we always have to start our conversation off like this? Apparently so. "Sooo..?" I repeat. "What's on your mind?" she asks. "Oh, I think you know." I say. "Hmm. Not quite sure. Could you spell it out for me?" she says taunting me, whilst shrugging her arms. "Kitsune! You know exactly what I mean!!" I exclaim. How could she not know what I mean? "Why the same day? Isn't it too soon?" I explain more. "Uh...it's next year." she says. "Still soon." I repeat. "Mkay, yeah, Chiwa..you gotta relax." she tells me. It's not that I wasn't happy to be marrying Lea and it's not that I'm not cheerful to be marrying the same day as my best friend, but I feel...rushed. "I thought we talked about this already. You should be happy and thrilled!" she exclaims. "I know! I mean, I am! It just...I don't know. How are we supposed to afford any of this at all either??" I question. "The same way you did with the diamond necklace?" she explains letting out a giggle. "Oh, please! It wasn't that expensive! Just a simple $10,000." I say waving my hand at her. Her expression grows dumbfounded. "GIRL!" she shouts. "What? They were real diamonds." I explain smiling. "Look. It's okay to be nervous. I'm nervous too. More ecstatic, but more or less nervous. Who knows what the future may hold for all of us. But I know that, if we're all together, nothing can cause us much harm." she says, whilst walking over and placing a hand on my shoulder. "You think so?" I ask. "Uh, yeah!" she shouts. I let out a chuckle! "Yeah, okay!" I respond. Kit's right. There's nothing I need to worry about. With the four of us together, nothing can beat us. We're unstoppable!
