The screen lightens to show a shipyard loading dock with several haulers picking up their payloads. The camera pans out from the underside of a shipping crate with "ROGERS" painted on the sides as it is attached to a trailer. The contents inside the container are shown to be filled with top-of-the-line electronics from Japan.
The original Toretto crew looked at each other knowing what was going to happen next.
The crate doors are shut and locked. A man is shown walking away from the crate while talking on his phone, "New payload. Has ROGERS on the side. Remember my cut."
Caroline, a Sheriff's daughter, figured out, "That truck's being targetted." Several heads turn her way causing her to shrink back into her seat.
The truck was passing through a quieter part of the highway outside Los Angeles when three black Honda Civics with green lights shining from the undercarriage surround the truck. The truck driver watches in disbelief as the sunroof of the Civic in front of the rig opens up and a guy wearing a motorcycle helmet sits on the car's roof.
The guy shoulders a speargun aimed at the windshield of the truck. The first round is fired and pulls the passenger side of the windshield off. A second spear gun is aimed at the passenger seat inside the cab. The guy clips the cable attached to the spear to a cable reel harness on his chest.
Some of the audience gasped as the guy pulled himself out of the sunroof and onto the top of the car preparing to jump onto the truck. The guy jumps onto the hood of the truck and climbs into the cab.
Elena couldn't help but voice her opinion, "You guys are crazy. This is insane."
Most of the Mystic Falls' crew roll their eyes. Damon and Jeremy both tell her to, "Shut up."
The two men in the cab fight. The trucker grabbed a wooden club and whacked the thief a few times. The guy punches the trucker a couple of times until he is knocked out. All the while, the truck has been swerving over the two-lane highway. Finally, the guy gets the truck under control and takes over driving.
All three Civics stay in position until they pass through a road work crew. One of the Civics swerved and stayed under the trailer, narrowly missing the back axle. Once they were clear o the road work, the Civic maneuvered out from under the truck, driving alongside it to exit the highway.
Letty leans over to Dom, "Man, she could drive."
Dom has a look of pride on his face, "Yeah, she sure could."
Everyone heard Katherine whispering, "God damn. Panty-dropping voice." The ladies of Mystic Falls were seen nodding in agreement. The men rolled their eyes.
The scene cuts to Brian test-driving his 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse after making more modifications to the engine in hindsight of his first street race. He accelerates to a high speed of 140mph but fails to keep the car from spinning out of control. Brian sits for a moment in his car before deciding to still participate in the street race.
Several audience members chuckle watching Brian struggle with his car. Especially those who knew what happened during the race.
The next scene shows a girl's hands gathering her car keys, cell phone, and wallet from a tall dresser with framed pictures of her and her friends and a couple of her with her mother. The camera zooms onto a picture of a young girl and her mother hugging.
Stefan noticed his brother stare at the screen with wide eyes, "Damon?" Stefan's concerned tone caught everyone's attention.
Dom leaned forward in his seat and looked at the vampire before saying, "Jesse? Pause it." The movie pauses on the young girl exiting the house to get in her car.
