POV
MASON GRANT
The next day went by without either of us saying anything. My sister just went to class. I decided to quit my job and search for something I want to pursue.

Mr. Gregory was so understanding and reminded me that I was welcome anytime I feel in any need of a job. "Thank you sir". The rest of my day I spent at the bar across town, the one that my sister loves going to with her friends.

*How is this place so crowded on a week day*. When I get to the bar and try to get the bartender's attention so that I could get a drink. Eventually when I got her attention and let her know what I wanted. She turned to make my drink. Just as I was about to leave with my drink. A short brunette girl bumps into me. Wearing a golden dress that held onto her body, every curve was displayed. It was short and left enough to the imagination. She looked sexy and her curves in all the right places.

"Hi, my eyes are up here",she informed me rather flattered that I was checking her out. " Yes, Hi, Mason Grant",I say rather formal."Yes I know", she says and gives me a mischievous smile. As I was about to indulge in a conversation. The door opens and a man *probably her husband or boyfriend* walks towards her.
*Well just fantastic*
*Did she just say that she knows I'm Mason*
*How does she even know me*

I hung out at the bar long enough and went home. My mind was constantly reminded of the woman in gold that knew me so well. Maybe it wasn't a big deal. She's probably one of my sister's friends or something. She looks beautiful I won't mind having a one night stand with her. She seems like the kind of woman that has a lot of one night stands.

When I got home, my sister was in the kitchen cooking and she had her friend over. They were clearly having a night because my bottle of wine I bought for myself to come and sulk in due to my unemployment, was almost done.

"And you know what Brook Baby I'm done. That's just it, for me. So you tell me what I'm suppose to do about this?","I don't know maybe just understand it from his point of view? Why, didn't we call Josie again? I feel like she'll give much better advice than I would",my sister responds,
"She has a family thing to deal with".

When I walked into the kitchen to get something to drink the girl that was laying on the counter jumps of and almost falls.
"Woah, be careful there Ma", I grab her before she falls. She looks at me like I'm some hero and then she straightens herself and assures me that she is always careful.

"You are the one that needs to be careful", she says and I can see that she realises it doesn't make sense. " Grant, how long will you be?", my sister asks annoyingly, wanting to continue their conversation.

"I'm leaving now", I smile reassuringly at her and take a last glance at this girl that now seems angry and agitated. I disappear into my room, leaving my sister and her weird hot friend to continue their conversation.

I wonder why, she is so bothered. She even looks different, than the last time I saw her and I mean good different. The last time I saw her she was wearing something casual. Nothing like what she was wearing tonight. A black dress that held her breasts in the right place making her ass look sexier. Her hair was curlier now and was loose. She was wearing long earrings and a heart necklace. She was technically barefoot when I saw her laying on the counter but her golden shoes was next to her. An indication that she looked breathe-takingly hot. So I could tell she came from some fancy event. She also had a glass in her hand with red liquid in it, clearly indicating that they drank my wine. It was almost twelve o'clock and she was still here. What time did she even arrive? Did she drive herself? Why'd she come here so late?- How is she going to get home?-

*Don't worry about that girl. You don't even know her*,my subconscious reminds me and I discard thoughts of her immediately.

When I got into the shower because I needed to relax a bit after the day I had. *knock *knock
"What?", I whisper to myself and turn the shower off. To hear whether I heard correctly.
Was that a knock on the door?

*No you are just hearing stuff Mason*
I switch the shower on and continue washing.
I hear my bathroom door open and yet again my mind reminds me that I'm tired and hallucinating because I had a few too many drinks.

"uhhh", I hear someone on the toilet peeing. After turning the shower off the third time. I can immediately hear its Brooks' friend. How does she not hear that the shower is on."Hey what are you doing in here?",I stick my head out of the shower.

She gets the fright of her life." What do you mean what am I doing here? What are you doing in here? Coming up in here whilst I'm peeing and deciding to shower", I honestly don't think she should be drinking. She just never makes sense and weird part is that she always has a serious expression on her face when she says these things. I just laugh at her and I could see the embarrassment on her face. So I just pop my head back into the shower and continue rinsing off the shampoo I put on my head. As soon as soon as I was done. I heard the toilet flush and the tap running.

"Hey can you at least hand me a towel?",I stick my hand out of the shower curtain and she does,"Please don't tell your sister I got lost and used your bathroom",she says something that makes sense for the first time the whole night."I won't",I assure her. "You promise?", she pulls the towel back towards her," Yes I promise", I say laughing at how she gets embarrassed about the smallest things.

"Okay", she says and hands me the towel. Before she reaches the door I hear a loud bang sound." Hey! Are you good?", I ask and there is no response. I get out of the shower and I find her blacked out girl on the floor. Maybe it was because of all the heat in this bathroom. It was very steamy. I rush over to her after putting the towel around my torso.

"Hey, Ma wake up?", I splash some cold water on her face and she wakes up. " What happened?","You blacked out","Ouch my head hurts",she reaches for her head,"Here", I hand her a lot of pain killers from out of my medicine cabinet. She slightly laughs at my worry and says,"Thanks", she then realises I'm half naked and hovering over her. Again she gets up fast. Her eyes gazing at my shoulder, towards my chest and stops above the towel.

She was starring at my tattoo and her starring made my breathing hitch. The bathroom felt like it was getting warmer.

For a second I forgot about the tattoo and I like how the memory of it fades because it is the one thing that always reminded me why I left the place I called home.*I have so many reasons for leaving that place and this was one of them*.

She saw me feeling uncomfortable about her starring. With a reassuring smile she says "Nice tattoo", and there was a long silence that followed before she left the bathroom.

I finally release a breathe I didn't realise I was holding and continue getting ready to go to bed.

When I reached the bed all I could think about was the constantly embarrassed girl.
